I live in South Africa and I want a Legion 7i so keenly but it's nowhere to be found ib my country and also struggling to find one abroad.
Do you have any advice?

Vector GP66 (2022) or Legion 5i Pro ? Same 12700h + 16gb + 3070ti 165hz screen etc. , if they are priced the same ? I only have "bad memories" of everything related to MSI but that is over 10y ago.

Just a heads up: I got the Lenovo Legion 5i Pro, and the GPU has a wattage of 125W with +25W boost. So 150W of power.
It regularly hits an average of 146W on my machine (measured) during VR gaming. It however, reaches peaks wattage of up to 202, which is insane.

i dropped the hammer and replaced my Asus that's going to be 10 years old and got a Lenovo 5i PRO they have some really great sales right now. Got a i7 12gen 32gb 1Tb SSD 3070ti GPU for $2005 after tax and free shipping. Still gonna keep my ASUS as an entertainment websurfing machine to control all my media on my tv. and make my Lenovo my 3d modeling, photoshop and gaming workhorse. Crazy that my 10 year old machine still runs nice but its really starting to chug on photoshop and when compiling 3d infor it even crashes, Thank you Jarrod for the detailed reviews they really helped me make my purchase

right now in the UK, 32gb version of 5i is 700£ cheaper than M16 during Black Friday. Checking the benchmarks, I don't see a justification at all for that price difference tbh. I will probably get the 5i. Thanks a lot for the video, it was super helpful

I wanted to say I wanted the m16, but after seeing so much on YouTube and Reddit, the whole asus heat system is just hovering me “ptsd”😅 my TUF gaming’ s whole system will stutter from one time to another very frequently because of the bad heating system.

I actually really appreciate laptops that exhaust hot air like the m16. My fingers get cold 🥶 and it’s awesome being able to warm them up on those vents.
