In February, Russia launched an all-out attack on Ukraine. A few days later, drone videos provided the first evidence of war crimes - committed on a highway outside Kyiv. Reporters tracked down survivors and identified suspects. The investigating prosecutor's office believes more than 30 civilians were killed. Who were the perpetrators? As it turns out, there is a good deal of evidence: Occupying soldiers failed to remove incriminating evidence before they withdrew from the northern suburbs of Kyiv. Along the Zhytomyr highway, where the soldiers had set up camp, reporters uncovered a papertrail. Among other documents, they found forms that Russian soldiers had countersigned for the receipt of weapons and ammunition. These clues lead to a notorious Russian army unit. Watching the drone footage is so surreal having horrific foresight of what fate awaits these poor souls.

Russia are the invaders but aren't ukraine the ones committing war crimes, dropping grenades on wounded or dying and defenseless russian soldiers?
I do wish people wouldn't call them war crimes........it isn't, its murder......plain and simple. You only get war crimes in war........in Ukraine it isn't war, its a massacre........its murder. Cold blooded murder.
This is horrible, of course, but how about the 16,000 Russian-speaking Ukrainians killed by bombs from the Ukraine Army. All a little bit one-sided.

Shame on the Ukrainian army for not helping to rescue these people or at lease create a heavy distraction so they could try to escape. I mean look at what they were able to do to the Russians at other checkpoints. Also it would seem they have way more than enough evidence to prosecute these soldiers, but who does that? Russia? Ukraine? NATO? Who captures these soldiers and what court do they go to? International war crimes tribunal or something? You already know Russia isn't going to do a damn thing about it, heartless trash.
