Made my own microfleur with a sandwich of plain non-corrugated cardboard, cotton fabric pieces and felt and a bowl to gently add a bit of pressure. It works exactly the same and is much cheaper (free) compared to a microfleur which is $139 on Canadian amazon!
What is the best way to layer flower pedals in a small bird mold. If I layer them will it look layered? I’m new to this but want to preserve my moms funeral flowers. Thank you
I am new to resin and I am trying to do fake sunflowers in a hexagonal bookend mold. All the flowers floated to the top 😢 Do you any suggestions on how to keep them in place?
These tips are gold, thank you so much!!!! Edit: This is irrelevant to the video but you look like a mix between Lana del Rey and Adele, just to let you know :D
Hi there, Thank you for this tips. Regarding layers - how many minutes or hours should I let the initial layer of resin sit before pouring the next layer?. Thanks in advance
I’m love this tutorial!! I found you totally by accident and am so glad I did.
Hello I have been watching plenty of videos to learn how to do it however I have 2 questions if you can please help ,
1) how much resin do you think is needed for a wedding bouquet
2) how much time between the resin pouring layers ?
I dried my roses and there's light brownish tints on some parts, can I dye them with food coloring and still have them look good and be able to be encased??
Excellent tips about the layers and heating! Thank you 🙏🇬🇧 THAT CROW ALSO AGREES 🤣 You did well there. Excellent video
I just had to order things so I can dry them out first. Thank you for posting this video. I’m new at this and don’t want to mess up my projects.
Thank you for all these tips. I went over to your amazon store however theres so much to chose from. an you create a beginners list especially with the gel beads and which one exactly you use? thanks
Want flowers in candle
Great video. I'm a beginner. My father-in-law passed away 1 month ago and most of the flowers dried beautifully. I want to make jewelry with the petals and a little filler flowers, like baby's breath. I've made jewelry for years but I don't have any experience with flowers in resin. I've always worked with semi precious gemstones. Thank you for the tips. I will be using UV resin. I'm definitely going to test the flowers out first.
Have you ever tried using deep pour epoxy for casting flowers?
Have you ever done a rose bud?
Hello, how can I prevent demarcation lines from forming when I am casting multiple layers in my resin? Thanks!
Thank you for this information.
I would like to ask how to work with a yellow rose that has dried out but the tips of the petals have turned brown. Do I trim the brown pieces off or can I cover them with a mica powder or a glitter before I put them in resin?
I don’t want to stuff the whole thing up as the flowers were from a bouquet from a friend’s mum’s funeral.
Thanking you in advance
this was so helpful!! thank you
An you used preserved flowers in resin please
