Very expensive to drive and unless the weather is price very costly to cool.
Hey Scotty when you get yourself a coach take some videos of you doing some traveling 😎😎
No, idling diesel at low rpms can hurt the engine if done for too long. The oil pressure gets low.
RVs are notorious for being built with the cheapest components, but charge the highest prices, the most valuable thing in that RV is the actual Ford Chassis.
We were told that when renting it out it's best to go through a service like ShareRV as they handle the insurance. Another thing to consider, especially if you'll be in it long term, is the cargo capacity of the rig and what the axels can safely handle. Take it to a CAT scale after you're loaded.
Wouldn't be buying a Ford RV with that horrible 3v Triton V8 engine lol. The V10, maybe. I am really wanting one of these Class C or B RVs though.
it's very important for you to get the roof fixed even though it's not looking bad it's time to put a new roof when you get a new RV you got to have maintenance up to date for you even move in or travel in it
no you should not buy a used RV because they break down very easy I just had a transmission replaced in my motorhome class a it costs over three grand to replace so no get a brand new one or close to a new one but not a used one
I have been thinking of living in either a trailer or a motor home and seeing American after retiring.
I’ve checked out all kinds of RVs and these decommissioned Class Cs from Cruise America are exactly what I’m looking for.
I like the bedroom with the walk around bed and the bathroom is outstanding in that it’s a split bathroom with the shower on one side and the toilet and sink on the other side.
My favorite feature of this rig is that humongous storage compartment in the back.
My only concern is that it’s as you call it a gas hog.
But other than that, it’s (to me) a condo on wheels.
Thank you for doing a video on this RV.
You're the best!
Scott i could not drive one that big at least in city traffic and my mate would not drive it either. so I would nee a small one Maybe a van with a hit top.
HEY Scotty My Dad had a Texico gas station aswell off the New York thruway...small world...lol. Hello from a former and EX Upstate New Yorker...lol
I was told to stay away from the RVs with the Ford chassis and stay with GM I made the mistake of buying one of these it was a GM though and I sold it for $1000 more than they paid for it lucky me
My son said it all. Get a 5th wheel RV. When your truck is getting serviced, You leave the 5th wheel in the park. Hope this helps Bro.
This guy talks like crazy Eddie….
Settle down an stop waving your arms, and talk in a moderat terms. Your videos are very annoying
Topic suggestion: retread tires! Just saw 4000 miles of highways lined with unpeeled strips of new looking tread! What gives and who is responsible for this dangerous low quality???
What about repairs where you have to lift the cab ?? Ouch !!
I'd rather get a big ol Chevy van ! 1970s to 1990s 😃
