I think the affects look amazing , but voices don't seem to match well . Especially princess peach's voice. Make her say "peachy" and I bet they won't sound close to the game version.
Some of us grew up with characters sounding a certain way or lack of comeplete dialog because alot of the characters didn't speak much except on occasion. But the voices don't sound anything like the in-game ones , except maybe toad and I hope bowser may change my mind. I will watch the movie to give it a chance, but I don't have high hopes for it just based on the voice overs .

I feel like Mario's new voice would work better if he just had more energy and sounded less bored. I think I know what kind of voice they were going for but I feel it just wasn't executed that well. I don't really like it, but I hope it works for the whole movie. I'm so impatient for this to come out! I'm totally seeing this in the theater!!!
