Which one do you recommend Scotty, Akebono's ACT or ASP?
Hi Scotty, watch your videos all the time, lovin em. Could you please answer this question for me? I have a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. I would like to purchase the Akebono pads for the front of it. Do they send the complete hardware/clips with it as I had purchased other brands and hardware/clips were short or useless! Thx so much ahead of time for your time.
Anyone here open up the bleeder when compressing the piston back into the caliper? Just wondering. I’ve heard to do that first
Holy crap Scotty. How about Torqueing the Bolt ? I've never had a caliper bolt that tight. Some gorilla must have tightened it !
Hey Scotty it'd be great you could answer this. While we were replacing brake pads we dropped them about 5 feet on concrete floor and aside from a little dent they seem fine should they still be used or better to get new ones?
something seeking under the car... crab wet spot
... more then brakes issues
Akebono are good. But, Powerstop excel against them. The carbon Euro are phenomenal.
Hey Scotty I purchased Akebono
ProAct Front Lincoln and Ford
Part No. ACT1454 and my mechanic told me they were too big for my 2013 Ford fiesta. Do you have any other recommendations for brake pads that are compatible with ford fiestas ?
Don't squeeze the pots like this. You may ruin the rubber. Keep the old pad in and squeeze it like that.
What about brake line bleeding?
Scotty, no need to turn the rotors?
They need tires right know.
How much Akebono pays you for the advertising?
Scotty, the price of brake rotors are crazy!!! Any suggestions, I have a 2013 Impala that seems to warp rotors within a year!!!?
Might be a good thing to tell people to flush their brake fluid every 2 years. DOT 4 absorbs water which cause the brake pressure to get weak.
What's the best brake disc to use to keep from having them warp and getting brake pedal pulsing?
Major problems when you gotta pump it to make it hard, Scotty
What brand ceramic pads is Scotty recommending? With his fast talking, accent, and my less than perfect hearing I can't make out the pad neme.
Hey Scotty, love you videos but I have a question, isn’t it bad to leave your brake calipers hanging like that on the second wheel?
