D best Superman ever! I still remember those awkward comedies
This is a very beautiful song.
The soundtrack was the soul of this movie. It placed this movie to a different level.

2023!!!!
Can't agree more with Gary B. Due respect to Mr. Reeves, but, Christopher just became SUPERMAN, for millions of people in the younger generations.
Somewhere in time , Christopher!
So, it is confirm! He cannot be with another woman! Otherwise his powers will be gone!😁😆😆😁😆😄😃😀
What a beautiful voice. So much emotion, God bless you Maureen McGovern
Such a truly gorgeous beautiful man so sad he had thar accident.
This song takes me back over 40 yrs still sounds timeless
Oh! How beautiful movie and those scenes... I was in love with my first boyfriend, and used to think of him as Superman.
My dad loved this song. Miss you, dad.
We watched this in HBO way back in 2002. Wishing we could undo things and bring back time like superman did🙏🏻✨
Christopher Reeve was the best Superman and Clark Kent. A real gentleman.
“It’s not a bird! It’s not a plane! It’s Superman!” One famous quote‼️ The superhero needs no introduction, even less so after eight motion pictures (so far) : Superman 1978, Superman II 1980, Superman III 1983, Superman IV : The Quest for Peace 1987, Superman Returns 2006, Man of Steel 2013, Batman Versus Superman : Dawn of Justice 2016, Justice League 2017.
That said, the lady rendering “Can You Read My Mind?” deserves her fair share of attention too. After all, Maureen McGovern, called “The Stradivarius Voice”, made a name for herself recording movie theme songs.
In 1972, the head of 20th Century Records hired her to perform the Oscar-winning “The Morning After”, theme from the disaster film “The Poseidon Adventure”. In 1974, McGovern recorded another Oscar-Winning track, “We May Never Love Like This Again” from the catastrophe film “The Towering Inferno”, then the Oscar-nominated “Wherever Love Takes Me” from the disaster movie “Gold”. Little wonder she was nicknamed the “Disaster Theme Queen”‼️ In 1980, she even made a cameo appearance as a singing nun in the comedy-disaster “Airplane!”… a hilarious parody of Helen Reddy’s scene as a singing sister in “Airport 1975”.
“Can You Read My Mind?” was the SUPER-SONGSTRESS’ last movie theme to chart… but most definitely not the ending of her successful career‼️ 💚🎬💜
What a voice.
So ironic that Christopher Reeves was Superman and then became ill the way he did.
If I ever get married this will be the song I will dance to with my husband.
What a beautiful song with a beautiful voice, totally an evergreen song. Bring back sweet memories from my kid years with my beloved parents 😘
