This is the build instructions (no voiceover) of our Medina Almost-Ready-to-Fly (ARF) 2-meter RC glider. We are assembling the F3-RES/F3L version of the Medina, launched with a bungee. The F5-RES/F5L version of the Medina is launched with an electric motor. The build log for the E-Medina can be found here: 🤍 The Medina is a balsa built-up glider with a carbon boom, carbon spar and other reinforcements and is covered with a light plastic film. This is a RES glider, which means it has Rudder, Elevator, and Spoiler channels for control. The V-tails are controlled by a pull-string system with a spring in the control surface. As the Medina ARF comes mostly assembled, it usually takes 1-2 hours to put together at home. Check out the new website We are now the Primary Canadian Agent for SWIWIN Turbines! 🤍 View the entire MIBO SWIFT GLIDER PLAYLIST HERE: 🤍 FROM THE MANUFACTURE The Swift S-1 from Mibo modeli came onto the market in 1993 and delighted many model aircraft pilots. 25 years later, the Swift S-1 comes back on the market completely revised. The Swift S-1 with a wingspan of 254cm promises very good flight performance in the plane as well as on slopes. In close cooperation with Norbert Habe, the profile was optimized to meet the requirements. Constructed in full CFRP, the model achieves a take-off weight of 3,000g, so you can be on the slope even with little wind, the 4-flap wing even enables good thermal properties. The possibility of ballasting up to 1,400g brass in the square connector and in the surfaces turns the good all-rounder into an extremely fast glider with uncanny draft, the flight characteristics remain non-critical. The fuselage is also built in CFRP, except for the front part, which is made of GFK / Kevlar for 2.4 GHz. With a light 4-cell drive and an output of around 800 watts, you have a powerful drive for operation on the flat or on a slope. For the very fast electric aircraft there is the option of a turbine or EDF drive with top speeds of over 300 km / h. The Swift S-1 is largely prefabricated in the highest quality, the pilot is left with the installation of the reception system as well as the optional drive and the completion of the canopy. With the wing servos, the installation of KST servos including IDS linkage is recommended. Triple Neo Speed - Time Lapse Build

In this video I will show you a time lapse build of the Aeronaut Triple Neo Speed. The fuselage consists of a GRP part combined with a carbon fiber tube. The wings are build as a classic balsa rib construction. The quality of the kit is very good with a fine selection of balsa sheets and a high accuracy of the laser cut parts. As usual for this kind of kits you have some room for own modifications. For example I replaced the original pulltruded carbon tube with a roll wrapped carbon tube to get more torsional strength. The trailing edges of the wings were reinforced with a carbon roving. To have a more carefree handling of the wings during attaching and removing I added 44g glass fiber to the inside of the skin in the area of the inner two rib fields. I strongly recommend to close the brass tube for the torsion rod as shown in the video. This prevents the torsion rod from sliding to one side which in the worst case could pull the rod completely out of the other wing. During flight this would definitely be a catastrophic failure. All in all I really enjoyed the build and can recommend it for anyone who has some basic experience in balsa building. The good build instructions leave almost no room for mistakes. This is the build instructions (no voiceover) for our E-Medina Almost-Ready-to-Fly (ARF) 2-meter RC electric glider. We are assembling the F5-RES/F5L version of the E-Medina, launched with an electric motor. The F3-RES/F3L version of the Medina is launched with a bungee, and the assembly video for the Medina can be found here: 🤍 The E-Medina is a balsa built-up glider with a carbon boom, carbon spar and other reinforcements and is covered with a light plastic film. This is a RES glider, which means it has Rudder, Elevator, and Spoiler channels for control. The V-tails are controlled by a pull-string system with a spring in the control surface. As the E-Medina ARF comes mostly assembled, it usually takes 1-2 hours to put together at home. How I built from scratch my micro RC SG-38 and made it a powered glider. An all-balsa RC plane that is easy to build and fly. A very good RC trainer plane because of its slow-fly characteristics. The real Schneider DFS 108-14 SG-38 Schulgleiter (German for "school glider") is a German high-wing, cable-braced, single-seat glider that was designed by Schneider, Rehberg, and Hofmann at Edmund Schneider's factory at Grunau in 1938. The main material of my Micro RC SG-38 is balsa. In fact, this is my first scratch-build using this material. Most of my micro planes use foam as the main material.
