Hey everyone! Made a last minute trip to check out a new island..the plan was to dive the famous Deans Blue Hole but it was quite windy and crowded so we checked out some other places. So I know in a few videos back I said we already got a new plane, but we sold that plane and we were going to buy a Malibu BUT we found a DREAM home on a runway! It is a grass runway, and we did not feel comfortable buying a plane that has issues with the nose gear when landing...SO we went back to a PA 32! We will be tearing this plane apart in the next couple months and adding a new panel and interior. We can't wait bring our pups in it! We are STILL waiting for building permits to start the renovation of our island home... And in JUNE we close on our new runway home here and start that renovation! Since most of us lack an unlimited budget, we are often forced to choose between going fast in a relatively small cockpit or dragging around a larger cabin. The "go-fast" airplane will get us to our destination sooner, but we might be forced to leave behind a few things, or a few people. The slower, large-cabin bird gets us there just fine, and lets us carry all the gear we need upon arrival. Mark talks about and flies this T-tail Lance. The attributes of this particular square winged, T-tailed, turbocharged, retractable PA-32. Lances have T-tails and low tails, turbos and non-turbos they always have square wings, not tapered. Saratogas have tapered wings and can be fixed gear or retractable, turbo or non-turbo. Always low tails. Cherokee Sixes are always squared winged and always fixed gear and never turbocharged. All are PA 32's. Flying starts at 7:32.

The time has come, everything lined up and I’m going to inspect my first plane! I chartered a Piper Arrow and flew to YPLI, Palmers Island to go see it. It was a great day out and all done by 10:30am! This journey is extended to my video editing skills 😁 I’m very new to this so I hope it’s still enjoyable enough to watch! Removal and Reinstallation of Piper Cherokee PA28/32 main fuel tank for replacement of components or spar inspection. Piper service bulletin 1006. Here I’m replacing all the fuel lines and fuel sender gasket. I am also complying with Piper SB 1006. Used the Airward SB1006 kit for the job. More expensive than sourcing parts yourself, but a major time saver which is why I went with them.
