This is the third video from my Maldives series and is based on my Day Excursion in which we did Snokeling, Sand Bank Visit and Dolphin Watching(Spotting) on 26th September, 2019. Maldives is gifted with crystal clear water all around it and Snorkeling in Maldives is definitely a must do activity. You can enjoy a number of water sports and other activities in Maldives and one of them is Snorkeling. There are a lot of packages out of which you can opt for and we opted for 3 point snorkeling. In this activity, we were taken to 3 different points for snorkeling where we could swim along with a variety of fishes and turtles. Also, on the way we had a chance to spot a lot of Dolphins. We were also taken to a Sand Bank where our Barbeque lunch was served. What all was included in the Package? Snokeling, Sand Bank, Veg/Non Veg Lunch, Soft Drinks, Dolphin Watching and To & Fro Transfers What was the cost of the Package? It costed us $110 (For 4 Adults). They were telling us a price of $35 per person but we bargained a bit and finally got this deal of $110. Depending upon the size of your group, you could get a good discount. What is Snorkeling? [According to Wikipedia] Snorkeling is the practice of swimming on or through a body of water while equipped with a diving mask, a shaped breathing tube called a snorkel, and usually swimfins. These snorkeling events took place in Fulhadhoo Island. Fulhadhoo Island is a small beautiful island of population approximately 200 located in the Maldives. In the first part of the video I tried to snorkel on the north of the island and it was the unsuccessful try. Second try was much better. The second half of the video describes the second try which was hold in the northwestern part of Fulhadhoo Island.

Located in Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere reserve, Milaidhoo offers the best house reef snorkeling we've had lately in the Maldives. The corals are really alive, with lots of colors and the fish life is abundant, making it the best place to snorkel in the Maldives in 2022, for us. Maybe we could have hope for more sharks to make it a perfect house reef to snorkel, but it was already really great. The reef is not the easiest to access and sometimes the current can be pretty strong, but the visibility is still great and each time we went snorkeling, the experience was amazing. I did not have the chance to have it on camera, but there was a huge lemon shark one day...just 30s after my Gopro ran out of battery, no luck for me. If you're looking for a great resort (Milaidhoo is actually our #1 overall favorite for the time being) that offers some amazing house-reef snorkeling in 2022, you won't be disappointing by choosing Milaidhoo. N.b : all the videos have gone through 0 color editing. These are all original colors out of my Gopro Hero 8 Black, used without any filter. Unfortunately, very often, the colors looked way nicer with our eyes than with the Gopro trying to play with the white balance. Ellaidhoo by Cinnamon is a Diver's paradise. It's literally like you are in a National Geographic video or something. The amount of beautiful and diverse fish, turtles, sharks that you see in this part of the world is just mind-blowing. The feeling you have when a group of sharks swim 30 feet under you or a turtle a lot bigger than swims right past is out of the world. The most unbelievable part is that we could see all this just during snorkeling. We didn't even have to dive.
