Egg Fried Rice | Simple Egg Fried Rice at Home | Egg Fried Rice Chinese Style | Restaurant Style Egg Fried Rice | Chinese Egg Fried Rice | Quick and Easy Egg Fried Rice | Bachelors Recipe - Egg Fried Rice | How to make Egg Fried Rice | Egg Fried Rice Street Food Ingredients: - Rice, boiled -250 to 300 gms - Eggs - 3 nos - Garlic fine chopped - 5-6 nos. - Spring onions/ scallions- 3 nos. - Carrot, fine diced - 1/2 cup - Beans, fine sliced- 1/2 cup - Salt - White pepper- 1/4 tsp - Soy sauce- 1 tsp - Peanut oil - 2 tbsp Preparation : - Cook the rice it till it’s 90% done . - Strain it & spread the rice on a plate to cool. - Chop the beans & carrots and fine chop the garlic cloves. - Separate the spring onion greens from the white. Now fine chop both separately & set them aside. Process : - Take a big kadhai or wok & heat 1 tbsp of peanut oil. Now break 3 eggs side by side and sprinkle salt & pepper. Also sprinkle some of the green spring onions/ scallions. - Now gently fold it in & scramble the eggs lightly . - Remove the eggs onto a plate & set aside. - Add one more tablespoon of peanut oil & heat it. - Add the white portion of the spring onions & sauté for a minute. Now add the fine chopped garlic & sauté. - Add the carrots, sauté for a minute & then add the sliced beans . Zo droogt het een klein beetje en krijg je de perfecte rijst om te bakken. 2 De volgende dag! 3 Pleur goed wat olie in een goede wok en zorg dat er een goede laag verdeelt is over je wok en laat de olie maar roken, zodra het rookt overige olie uit de wok halen. Zorg dat er nog een klein laagje olie in zit (3 el olie). Gooi nu je knoflook, sjalot en rode peper in de pan en bak 1 minuut. Tijd voor je eieren, gooi die in de pan en bak het +/- 30 seconde mee. Als het bijna helemaal gebakken is gooi je je rijst erbij. Even goed door elkaar roeren! 4 Tijd voor je sojasaus, sesamolie, sambal, ketjap, Ve-tsin en witte peperpoeder. Even bakken. A quick recipe for takeaway-style egg fried rice with loads of flavour! Check out THE MOST IMPORTANT TIP for ensuring your rice isn't sticky or claggy. Such a great dish to serve up as part of a homemade Chinese fakeaway! Free printable recipe available on our site: 🤍 Fried Rice Ingredients: ▢2 tbsp vegetable oil ▢1 onion peeled and diced ▢2 cloves garlic peeled and minced ▢4 cups (800g) boiled and cooled long grain rice - (this is about 1 ⅓ cups (300g) dried rice that has been boiled in water) ▢½ tbsp sesame oil ▢2 eggs ▢2 tbsp dark soy sauce ▢¼ tsp salt ▢¼ tsp garlic salt ▢1 tbsp lemon juice - (fresh or bottled is fine) To Serve: ▢½ bunch of spring onions/scallions chopped Process: 1. Add 1 tbsp of the oil in a large wok. Add the onion and cook, stirring regularly on a medium heat for 5 minutes until the onion starts to turn soft and translucent. 2. Add in the remaining vegetable oil and 2 cloves of minced garlic. Cook for a further 30 seconds, stirring regularly. 3. Add the rice and turn up the heat to high. Then drizzle over the sesame oil. 4. Use a spatula to toss everything together and to ensure the rice doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan. Keep moving the rice around so that it's all getting reheated. 5. Once the rice is hot (this will take about 5 minutes), push the rice over to the side of the pan and crack the two eggs in the space. Add a little splash (about ¼ tbsp) of the soy sauce to the eggs. 6. Making sure the part of the wok with the eggs in is over the heat, fry the eggs, giving a mix with the spatula until the egg starts to cook and look scrambled, but is still a little runny. 7. Now mix the egg into the rice. 8. Pour in the remaining soy sauce (about 1 ¾ tbsp), sprinkle on the ¼ tsp of salt and ¼ tsp of garlic salt and mix it all together. 9. Add ½ tbsp of the lemon juice, stir and taste. Add a little more lemon juice if required. Divide between 4 bowls. Top with spring onions (scallions). 10. Serve with your favourite Chinese dish. I love to serve it with Crispy Sesame Chicken or Sweet and Sour Chicken or Sticky Pork Belly. MSG Or No MSG? Let's talk MSG for a minute! There have been so many controversial discussions about MSG (monosodium glutamate). MSG is a flavour enhancer. It's naturally found in some foods, but the MSG I'm talking about here is the stuff that looks like tiny thin longish strands of salt. It's often associated with Chinese cookery and it helps to give dishes that lovely umami flavour. From my own experience, we grew up with a packet of MSG always in the cupboard. My dad always added it to fried rice, and I've made fried rice MANY times both with and without MSG. Personally, I haven't got a problem with it. BUT I rarely use it. Why? Well, we don't live close to any good Asian grocery shops here. Also, I don't think that fried rice NEEDS it. I add salt, garlic salt and soy sauce to my fried rice for the same umami flavour. It's worth noting that some garlic salt and soy sauce contains MSG anyway (I've just checked mine and they don't, but it's not something that I look out for when buying). If you do want to use MSG, you can replace the ¼ tsp garlic salt with ¼ tsp MSG. #Fakeaway #Recipe #CookingShow

Chinese Fried Rice is a simple and yet difficult to master dish but once you get the hang of it, you can fry this super yummy easy meal anytime. This is our Din Tai Fung inspired Shrimp Fried Rice. In case you haven't heard about Din Tai Fung, it is a chain of restaurants originating in Taiwan. Back in 1993, New York Times ranked them as the Top 10 Best Restaurants in the World. In 2010, the restaurant's first branch in Hong Kong at Tsim Sha Tsui was awarded one Michellin star and their second branch at Causeway Bay was also recommended by Michellin Guide. Although Din Tai Fung is known to specialise in xiao long bao (Chinese steamed dumplings), their egg fried rice with pork chop is also really popular amongst diners. Of course that includes us :). We actually stood outside DTF kitchen to figure out what ingredients were used. Opps - I hope we won’t be banned from Din Tai Fung because that’d be tragic. Whenever we dine at Din Tai Fung, fried rice is one of our must-order dishes but instead of ordering shrimp fried rice, we always go for their pork chop fried rice. OMG so good! I'll get Roland to show you how to prepare their pork chop next time. Many different cuisines such as Indonesian, Malay, Japanese, Thai etc today all have their own version of fried rice but did you know that fried rice was actually first developed during the Sui Dynasty in China? Korean Egg Fried Rice, 황금 볶음밥 I made the easiest & simplest Egg fried rice. Just don't put too much oil in :|... I skipped the bit where I added more salt into the bowl in the video (my bad)... I think I was too paranoid with keeping up with music ahaha You should add more *adjust the amount of salt to your liking* Quite a simple and common recipe This recipe was on Korean TV but in that recipe they just used salt to season. I tried adding soy sauce to it and I personally think it tastes better this way Edit: Some of you are asking if u can make this without green onion. If you don't have green onion, try doing exactly the same thing but replace green onion with garlic. Without flavouring the oil, it won't taste very nice.
