Some young artists start by identifying themselves in relation to a famous artist that they are influenced by. As a starting point, Webber advises: think of an artist who influenced you, and think of an artist you have something in common with, and those artists should be as far apart from each other as stylistically possible. Then think about what Webber calls your “unique differentiator.” This is some aspect of yourself that separates you from others, that makes you stand out. Capturing the emotional intention in your music will bring it to life. The difference between intention and vision, according to Webber, is that the vision is what art you plan on creating, while the intention is the execution of bringing your vision to life. As examples of artists who have tied the “I.V.I.” together especially well, Webber points to examples like Lady Gaga, The Beatles, and Bob Dylan. About Stephen Webber: Stephen Webber is an Emmy-winning composer and professor of Music Production and Engineering at Berklee College of Music. In three decades as a record producer, engineer, session player, music director, recording artist, DJ, and studio designer, Stephen has recorded with Ivan Neville, Meshell Ndegeocello, the Manhattan Guitar Duo, and the Turtle Island String Quartet, and performed with Bela Fleck, Mark O'Conner, Grandmixer DXT, and Emmylou Harris. A writer for Electronic Musician, Remix, and Mix Magazine, Stephen is also the author of Turntable Technique: The Art of the DJ, the first book to teach the turntable as a musical instrument. Stephen performs and presents clinics and master classes throughout the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia, and has been profiled on the Today Show, CNN, and NPR's All Things Considered, and in the New York Times and Rolling Stone magazine. I am of the firm belief that in this new day and age where the platforms have been redefined and you don't have to sell it to some editor or agent or TV executive, the fact that you create it and you put it out there, and you can hustle and get attention to it, leveraging tools like Facebook and Twitter and all the other social tools, that anybody can monetize their passion, and to me that is shockingly exciting. So you've got to really figure out who you are. I get an email every day. "I want to be like Gary Vaynerchuk. I want to be like you." Well, not everybody is so over-the-top and extroverted and borderline obnoxious like I am that's going to catch some attention. Maybe you're an amazing writer. Maybe you have an amazingly cool studio voice that you could be audio. Find that platform. Put out that content and talk about what you love and know most from your heart. That will open up opportunities that I don't think people understand. The biggest fan of every sports team, if they started blogging and video blogging or audio blogging about their favorite team, and really did it, don't realize what that could lead to. So much, in today's age. Thirty-six months ago? No. Now? Absolutely.

And it will be our own voluntary "Grexit" from this and from any other crisis. Dr. Kalogerakis was born in Crete in 1957. He received his B.Sc., M.Sc. & Ph.D. from Strathclyde University, Scotland. Since 1982 has worked in a number of managerial positions for national & multinational companies in the UK, the M.East, Greece and Cyprus. As a frequent keynote speaker in various national and international conferences and as a visiting Professor to various British & Greek Universities, he has given numerous lectures and seminars internationally emphasizing the anthropocentric approach to sustainable corporate development. Since 1993 he has lectured regularly at the Hellenic Management Association on People skills, empowerment, motivation and personal skills development. The programs offered, cover many aspects of soft skill personal development, from Leading with Emotional Intelligence to Ethics and Culture Change.
