Elon Musk’s Starship SUCCESSFULLY PERFORMED The FIRST Wet Dress Rehearsal!

Elon Musk’s Starship SUCCESSFULLY PERFORMED The FIRST Wet Dress Rehearsal! Elon Musk's SpaceX has made a big advancement by finishing the first-ever full flight-like dress rehearsal for its deep space rocket Starship, which is probably capable of carrying astronauts to Mars, the company stated on Tuesday. And so, what are the next steps before the first orbital launch? Let’s find out! Hello everyone! Welcome back to Elon Musk Evolution, where we bring you the most recent news about Elon Musk and his multibillion-dollar companies, space news and the latest science and technology. But, before we begin, make sure you subscribe to our channel and click the bell icon so you don't miss any of our amazing videos. Today at Starbase, Starship finished its first full wet dress rehearsal that replicated a flight. The combined Ship and Booster was completely loaded with more than 10 million pounds of propellant for the first time in this operation. The SpaceX rocket of the future has advanced significantly toward its initial attempt at an orbital launch with the conclusion of that test. The largest rocket ever built is called Starship, and it is around 120 meters (394 feet) tall and 9 meters (about 30 feet) broad. It is intended to launch more than 220,000 lb (about 100 metric tons) to low Earth orbit (LEO) in a fully reusable form. Starship will be significantly more powerful than any rocket in history when it lifts off, with its 33 Raptor engines capable of producing up to 7590 tons (16.7M lbf) of thrust. And after SpaceX fully loaded Starship with propellant on Monday, January 23, it probably became the heaviest rocket ever. To the surprise of most spectators, SpaceX successfully pass the challenging test necessary for that achievement. It just hasn't been SpaceX's preferred strategy while constructing Starship, so the apparent success is unexpected. The Starship program has been handled primarily to prioritize speed and prepare for disasters since SpaceX started building Starhopper in an empty Texas field in 2018. In spite of the fact that failures were a given, the corporation nearly always opted to create, test, and learn from minimum-viable product prototypes as soon as possible. SpaceX always had a backup prototype ready to continue the work because it anticipated failures, learnt from them, and prepared for them. Starship prototypes rarely succeeded in ground or flight tests on the first attempt since SpaceX was also learning how to test and operate those vehicles, frequently in a devastating manner. The result of the failure-as-an-option strategy was a series of seven suborbital Starship tests, which took place between August 2020 and May 2021 and included two brief hops of identical prototypes as well as five attempts to launch and land five more advanced prototypes. After four failed attempts, a full-scale Starship finally launched to a height of 12.5 kilometers (41,000 feet) on its fifth attempt, shut off its engines, descended to Earth, re-ignited them, flipped about, and landed safely. It appears that the campaign served as the ultimate validation of SpaceX's development approach. However, SpaceX made the decision to fundamentally alter the risk management and systems engineering strategies for the Starship program in the second half of 2022. As a result, over the past few months, testing of starships has grown extremely cautious. There is a slight possibility that SpaceX just happened to get lucky, but Starship's first completely built wet dress rehearsal test seems to show that being cautious has paid off. Since mid-2022, the rocket's two stages, Ship 24 and Booster 7, have performed dozens of independent verification tests and static fires. #elonmusk #starship #spacex #spacexnews #spacexlaunch _ Hope you guys enjoy this! 👉 If you enjoy this video, please like it and share it. 👉 Don't forget to subscribe to this channel for more updates. "SpaceX Starship is a BIG MISTAKE!", Scientists revealed...

"SpaceX Starship is a BIG MISTAKE!", Scientists revealed... Huge thanks to: TijnM: 🤍 iamVisual: 🤍 = Two decades ago, the latest owner and CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk founded SpaceX, a rocket company to someday send people to Mars, and he has said for years that he will make space travel as easy as hopping on a plane. As he stood in front of a gleaming steel spaceship, it was tempting to start believing him. “It’s really gonna be pretty epic to see that thing take off and come back,” Musk said. But that is the hypnotic nature of such showcases. The flashiness of the affair, the giddy confidence of the host—these can almost elide the unspoken hitch here, that building an interplanetary spaceship is really really difficult. Can Starship be a big mistake? Let's see what famous scientists and engineers just explained about that. Starship—which is being built at a Texas site dubbed “Starbase”—consists of a giant spaceship on top of a large booster, known as Super Heavy. Both can land back on Earth so they can be reused, reducing costs. The entire vehicle will be capable of lifting 100 metric tons (220,000 pounds) of cargo and people into space on regular low-cost missions. The volume of usable space within Starship is a whopping 1,000 cubic meters—big enough to fit the entire Eiffel Tower, disassembled. For most, this massive size is admirable. However, the Mars Society President and Aerospace Engineer Dr. Robert Zubrin said: "that a problem with Starship is that because it’s so massive it takes a great deal of facilities to be able to refuel it, so he anticipates that the few Starships that first land on Mars will stay on Mars." To begin the Mars colonization effort, the rocket company's mission will be to deliver a massive amount of cargo, including vital equipment to Mars, and possibly robots with capabilities to set everything up before the first human arrival. Part of the first deliveries to Mars could include supplies such as power generators, large batteries, and solar panels that would aid to build/power a propellant plant to refuel Starship and eventually come back to Earth. Zubrin pointed out that it would take 6 to 10 football fields of solar panels to refuel Starship within a 500-day stay on Mars. "SpaceX Starship is a BIG MISTAKE!", Scientists revealed...

The second most dangerous part is when a spacecraft has to decelerate and survive the fiery heat of re-entry while returning to Earth. Objects coming back from space are traveling at many times Mach speed — faster than the speed of sound — and as they do they're compressing the air in front of them. As a result, all could be burned up as fireballs. But when asked about his descent from outer space, veteran astronaut Scott Horowitz said “it's very smooth, and there's no real sudden onset or force or Gs that you feel. You'll notice, looking out the window, the sky starts to turn a different color. It turns kind of a light pinkish color and then it gets kind of a deeper pinkish red, and then it turns red and orange. And what you realize is you're looking from the inside of a fireball outward. You're inside the air that's being ripped apart as you're re-entering the atmosphere. Very little feeling, no shaking, no vibration, but you just see the heat that's being generated by the space shuttle entering the atmosphere." All of this is thanks to the use of a thermal protection system (TPS). The system may not be the most glamorous feature in a spaceplane, but it is one of the backbones of every mission and can lead to the difference between a safe re-entry and total catastrophe. Tens of thousands of spectators made the pilgrimage from across the country & 22 million people around the world on Youtube witnessed the thunderous roar of the SpaceX's new 23-story-tall jumbo rocket as it has blasted off on its first test flight, carrying Elon Musk’s red Tesla sports car aiming for an endless trip past Mars. The Falcon Heavy rose from the same launch pad used by NASA nearly 50 years ago to send men to the Moon. With lift-off, the Heavy became the most powerful rocket in use today, doubling the lift-off punch of its closest competitor. Within three minutes, the Falcon Heavy’s two side boosters separated from the central rocket in one of the most critical points of the flight. Some eight minutes after launch, a pair of sonic booms rocked the area as the two side boosters set down in near synchrony on two landing pads. Flying atop the Falcon Heavy is SpaceX & Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s cherry-red Tesla Roadster, carrying a passenger—sort of. SpaceX revealed last weekend that a mannequin wearing the company’s new spacesuit would ride in the driver’s seat of the electric sports car ,nicknamed Starman. And we have a bunch of neat new things to discuss! A little revelation, SpaceX just installed a new Starship on the static fire test stand! Well, what things can we look forward to? All this and more in today's episode of Great SpaceX! SpaceX may be focused on preparing Ship 24 and Booster 7 for their potentially imminent orbital launch debut, but the rest of the company’s Starship factory isn’t just sitting around. The factory has continued to produce new ships and boosters. SpaceX has even conducted some limiting testing of a pair of prototypes meant to follow in the footsteps of S24 and B7. In mid-January, that process entered a new and more active phase as SpaceX transported Starship S25 from the factory to the launch pad. The trip is not Ship 25’s first. Starship S25 first headed to SpaceX’s South Texas launch and test facilities on October 19th, 2022, shortly after the vehicle was fully assembled. The first round of tests was thorough and put Ship 25 through a pneumatic proof test, multiple cryogenic proof tests, and likely a few simulated thrust tests using six hydraulic rams. As usual, SpaceX didn’t comment on the development or indicate how that initial proof testing had gone, but Ship 25’s January 14th, 2023 return to the launch site all but guaranteed that that testing had gone more or less according to plan. On January 17th, SpaceX lifted Ship 25 onto Starbase’s only Starship static fire test stand, further confirming that Ship 25 proof testing went to plan. Two of those arms are identical and linked together, forming a sort of claw that could one day close around hovering rockets to preclude the need for landing legs. A simpler third arm swings in and out to connect Starship’s upper stage to the launch pad’s power, propellant, and gas supplies. Welcome to 2023, and a really interesting set of topics today to kick the year off. A bunch of neat new things to discuss at Starbase Texas. SpaceX Starship Updates of course, but the new device to ensure the Orbital Launch Mount can support the full 5,000 tonnes of a Fully Stacked and Loaded Starship. A very exciting launch and return to landing site for Falcon 9, but also some super interesting payloads to talk about within that Transporter 6 mission. A brand new fully reusable vehicle by Stoke Space with only a metal heat shield? How is that going to work? And then we worked hard on a new compilation to re-inspire and remind myself and all of us, why a Crazy Future Awaits if SpaceX can nail Starship and its future plans. This year is already looking very exciting as we count down to the biggest tests of the Starship yet. Join the mailing list to be notified when I release a video. 🤍 👕Like this shirt? SpaceX upgrades everything on Starship 24 for orbital launch incoming

SpaceX upgrades everything on Starship 24 for orbital launch incoming Huge thanks to: Starship Gazer: 🤍 🤍 LabPadre: 🤍 Ezekiel Overstreet: 🤍 Kevin Randolph: 🤍 🤍 What about it!?: 🤍 C-bass Productions: 🤍 Every day we look at SpaceX's progress in Boca Chica, there's something new to see every time. And after nearly 4 years of development, from Starhopper, the SpaceX team is now working on Ship 24 to make the first orbital flight. As the result, there are many important upgrades on this prototype. So, what are the differences between Ship 24 and its predecessors? Is this finally ready for launch? Why Starship's first Orbital flight is very important? Find out everything about this in today's episode of Alpha Tech: SpaceX’s Boca Chica, Texas hardware endeavors began in an empty field in late 2018, kicking off Starhopper testing in 2019. In late 2019 and early 2020, the company began building the bones of the factory that exists today, relying heavily on several giant tents (“sprung structures”) similar to those used by Tesla. SpaceX has already begun the process of replacing those tents with larger, permanent buildings, but two of the original tents continue to host crucial parts of the Starship manufacturing process. In terms of useful output, that manufacturing slowed down a bit in 2022. That slowdown can likely be partially explained by the need to move equipment and processes into the first finished section of Starfactory. But in general, SpaceX was simply focused on upgrading and testing Starship S24 and Super Heavy B7 – both stages of the latest vehicle meant to attempt Starship’s first orbital launch. The Ship 24 was equipped with the newest major upgrade, typically its nosecone. The noses of Starships SN8, SN9, SN10, SN11, SN15, SN16, S20, and S22 have all been constructed in roughly the same way. Altogether, something like 120 complex vertical welds would be needed just to assemble the most basic structure of a nose, followed by four or five no less complex circumferential welds to turn those sections into one cone.
