With the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, I took on the challenge of completing the Pokedex as fast as possible, and while I normally attempt this with only the newest Pokemon, I tried to complete the entire Pokedex of all 400 Pokemon. After playing Arceus having to engage every Pokémon to catch just feels so much slower
The easiest way to get false swipe imo is to get your pokemon to level 15, get the first badge, go back to the start area, and capture a scyther. Every single one I caught had false swipe learned and it's not nearly as frail as a ralts
NO ONE NOTICED BUT DURING THE MOUNTAIN GAME HIS MIRIDON WAS SHINY AND THATS A 1 IN 4096 CHANCE!!!

This is a bit late, but Primeape's rage fist doesn't have to connect you can use it 20 times on a normal type and it'll still evolve
After finishing the game I abandoned it but I realised that I’ve never every completed a pokedex… mf I’ve battled 357 and have caught 194🧍🏻♀️
At this point, I only have one Pokemon left, and that's Slowking. This is going to be the first game where I actually complete the Pokedex since the original Red and Blue!
It all easy except evolving paladin
I had an easy time while doing a Living Dex. I found a lot of Pokemon easily and barely needed to evolve. I just FOUND a Lucario running around. The first time I went into Tagtree I found 4 Applin just sitting there on the ground.

Here's a fun challenge for any next Pokemon game: Regular pokeballs only and go gender-exclusive. I only catch male pokemon (unless it's female exclusive species) and only use regular Pokeballs. Makes the grind a lot more fun
