But there are some parts of the world that no empire, nation or state has been able to tame. In this episode of Borders, Johnny heads deep into the Himalaya mountains to learn about how people have lived away from the concept of borders. China and Nepal are acting fast to develop this remote region and it's having major effects on the local population. I really hope that the couple who migrate with the Yaks can find happiness and not feel smaller than those who SEEM to be more fortunate than them. I'd love to experience a day or two in their footsteps. I wish them the best!
this needs a part 2 100%, Johnny is a great docu maker/.
ECch2g1_6PQ&t=12m17s 12:17 can anyone explain what's he doing? Im interested
Absolutely beautiful how these people live. Not busy with politics, economics, that stuff. Just with their community and their animals. Living a very simple, but beautiful live. If reincarnation exist, I wish to be reincarnated here.
After 4 years, I am watching ,my home again. It has been 5 years I haven't been home. Crying and watching. 😪😪😪
Tibet had been a part of China since Qing dynasty for 300 years, why did you say China controversially annexed Tibet in 1950? Please, study your history
This is why I belive we should go borderless (wherever we can). Having a border there has no real use appart from saying "this is mine". It seperates people, when we should strive to live in unity, and cooperation. While yes, therr are alot of places where borders are crucial for protection for the people living in those countries, like in Israel, but i belive that should be their only use. Protection. They shouldn't be used as they're used today, in a way that seperates us humans and tares us apart. We should live together, in peace, and with freedom of movement that applies all over earth.
I Hate the song that is used in this video and others on the channel other than that I love the content that Johnny makes
The Lakota also often used and lived in the Badlands to be able to practice our culture
As an Indian I have learnt about the Himalayas as a refuge for people who want to live a peaceful life away from bustling civilizations. I'm feeling sad now that external entities want to exert their influence on this land that wanted to stay away from all of it.
I don't like China.
