Hello and welcome to yet another Minecraft video! In this video, I will show you how to install Optifine for Minecraft 1.17! Minecraft 1.17 has just been released, and with the release we got an Optifine 1.17 release, WITHOUT support for 1.17 shaders. This is still Optifine for Minecraft 1.17 however! Normally we'd have to wait awhile for Optifine 1.17 to be released, but because Optifine already had some pre-releases for 1.17 snapshots, we got an Optifine 1.17 version within hours after the release of Minecraft 1.17 the Caves & Cliffs Update Part 1! In this video I will show you how to install Optifine for Minecraft 1.17, you will have to go to Optifine.net to download Optifine 1.17 using the link down below. Of course, you also want to use shaders in the new Minecraft 1.17 update, but because there is no support for shaders for Minecraft 1.17 just yet, I will make an updated tutorial later. i have optifine downloaded and when i use it it looks like normal Minecraft

it doesnt somehow work for me, ive tried jarfix and i downloaded java but when i try to open optifine with java it doesnt show up
when i downloaded optifine and i doubble clicked on it. the menu to install it shows up, but i cant click the install buttun, its greyed out. can someone please help me?!
Thxss so much for this video! I been trying to see what was going on with optifine when I got the 1.17 of it. I thought I messed something up lol now I know I need to wait on the new updates to Minecraft just to use optifine. I'll be looking forward to that video when we can use optifine again!

I have the Windows 10 version of MC. Is there anything I can do to install optifine and mods? Everything online is either mixed messages or a fucking virus bait.
it says "cannot install java" when i click on the optifine thing so im going to try jar fix and if it doesent work i will redownload the file ill edit this comment if it works or doesent work
