The Regular Russian Infantry are getting issued a brand new primary weapon for the first time since 1974. The new features on the Next Generation AK-12 tells us a ton about how the Russian military is planning to adjust their fighting doctrine for their next potential conflict. Vladimir Zlobin became the chief designer. Zlobin’s visionary prototype was a revolutionary departure from the AK series. On 6 September 2016 Sergey unveiled his version of the Ak-12 and what we ended up getting after all that media hype was actually just a pretty modest small improvement over the AK74. It weighed 7.7 lbs unloaded which is very slightly less than the AK-74 it had a slightly increased effective range to 440 meters and its felt recoil is slightly lower thanks to buttstock being inline with the new free floated barrel. This version had the really unusual strange 2 round burst mode so I guess we’re just arbitrarily picking our burst numbers now? What’s next, a 12 round burst? I give up. This is a major departure in Russian doctrine and will provide the biggest performance boost to Russian infantry since the Ak74. Want more fun military content and news? There are a "series" of flaws in it :)
Can you make a video about MSBS GROT ?
this video didnt aged well.
So russians didnt have the ak-12 and that mass troops near the border of ukraine was true and russia unvaded Ukraine.
Guns and weapons manufacturers closing down. A failure the vast majority of humans don't gaf about anymore.
it sounds like you make up your own pronunciations, bro... izhmash you pronounce like izmiyov... everytime i listen to your videos i have to go read the right spelling to understand what you're talking about... you spend a lot of time on making videos and research, i think it's not hard to work on the pronunciation, brother
Can I suggest something about your Russian pronunciation? It is more like "Ishmush", than "Ishymaysh". Sorry, I love your channel and your content. Keep doing
Russian Army has always been conservative, I'm not surprised they went this route. Still, for their type of conflicts this assault rifle is exactly what they need. US in particular shouldn't be too critical, after the fiasco with the introduction of the M-16 in 1965/66.
What is going on with the ak-15 and ak-19?
Is it really so difficult to use Google translator and listen to how to pronounce IZHMASH correctly? Izhmiya, Izhmua, Izmyu…IZHMASH is an abbreviation for Izhevsk Machine-Building Plant! izh mash
but if you only had problems with pronunciation, that would be half the problem. your statements indicate that you are poorly versed in the topic. In most of the videos, Russian soldiers without sights, since they are in the rear, they do not perform a combat mission, but rather a police function. Soldiers who actually perform combat missions are equipped with everything necessary. Since the 1970s, dozens of different rifles and various types of small arms have been adopted. Google to help you.
Always copying western designs.
Wahoo. Video from 9 months ago and you did foresee the war in Ukraine.
Can't call them AK's anymore, they are poor mans AR-15's.
So in other words… it’s just a copy of the American M4? Doesn’t surprise me… Russian copy, adore, and envy everything that is American…
You guys spelled epilogue wrong...but now i know you did it on purpose to see if i was watching closely. touche
I guess Palestinians could do very well with a couple hundred thousands of these along with Javelins and stingers
about:invalid#zCSafez Russia and China have no weapon to rival the US army's new M-5. It's large round and advanced Computer Optic it will be easily accurate around 800M and pierce armor vs the enemies 300M. A serious advantage for the foreseeable future. Hua! about:invalid#zCSafez
Love all those mostly non existent Russian super weapons made out of cardboard and purpose as mockup for display and military parades. Also liking all the design failures Russian designers build in militairy equipement youtu.be/aLv-W9eeJsE youtu.be/aLv-W9eeJsE
Do you know why they stopped using bayonets? because nobody's going to let you get that close to use it especially to throw a f**** shovel unless you're doing some going for gilded shovel call of duty stealth mission bullshit which a shovels probably still your worst choice .
Can you imagine seeing a shovel get thrown out of some bushes and hits a guy with a mild Bruce and all the soldiers look at each other like what the fk can we shoot him?
I've shoot extensively with the Canon EOS 33.
Superb results with Fuiji Film - 100 ASA.
