Very cool stuff! The techniques are very similar to micro-jigging techniques that have been being used in ice fishing applications for decades....18"-24" UL rods with small ( 1/10 oz +) Swedish Pimples/Kastmasters/Wolframs etc.
Keep the tutorials coming!!
Hey Johnny just found your web page looks like you got some good stuff I’ll be ordering a bunch of slow jigs soon nice video
when you drop back i notice you lift the line with your finger right in front of the reel, may i ask why?
as always great job!
could you pick more distracting and anoying music it ruins the entire video maybe it would be better if it wasnt so loud be holy smokes guys
The music is distracting.
Why is that one guy blurred out?
Blew me away when you said 10lb test... that's wild to me
I fish alot in saltwater but what I would like to learn is jigging and the proper equipment used since I rarely see being used by locals. I am in Fiji and I love to watch your videos
What is the best rod length for slow pitch jigging?
Not sure why I was just as interested in the guy who is either wanted by the law or is in witness protection. Who needs to hide their identity on YouTube?
Yeah it was like 8-9 years ago I remembered just getting a few jigs online and trying them out on a smaller spinning set up and got wrecked all day long in 180' and I knew then this is the new thing
Can you do this with flounder?
You guys should make a trip to the northeast and give it a shot up here
Great info thanks
Just a few questions hopefully they don’t sound silly
Does anchoring up work just as well ?
Also just say the current is strong and your fishing in 30metres of water would a heavier jig work? eg instead of using a 150g jig you up to a 250g plus jig ?
Cheers form Perth wa
Amazing! What test of rod for slowjigging you reccomend for dephts 30-60 m?
Assist reeling not sportsman like. If you fish for a living ok, but if your a sportsman no. Please promote reel fishing! Great video content expert for the Assist reeling.
I heard on a sport fishing boat to never use your rod to lift fish up out of water to deck . Is that true ? You should hand lift fish up the side of the boat to the deck. Never heard this on any of your or anyone else's video. Common sense..big fish you gaff but bonita ect. you hand lift fish ?
Noticed you guys are using swivels, is that okay, not hit of performance of the jig? Going to be bottom jigging for the first time so I'm trying to figure out what works. Also, do you find having one assist hook on the top and two on the bottom with the bottom ones getting caught up on the main line? Thanks.
