This is not how I would usually play Austin because it is very dangerous and any volley could be your last, but given my starting position and the flow of the game, I decided to give it a go. Open gun boating like this should not be your main way of playing this ship imo but sometimes it works. Also enemy CV really wanted a piece of this fine steak so we gave it to him. Really? Tier X vs tier VIII and you say their cry?
Really? That's like being very proud of having hit an eight-year-old boy...
who goes for austin when they are in tier 8 CV
You make this game look so easy, it disgusts me.
Seattle absorbs damage idk - I always run ram flag on it because you weirdly live long enough to take a pushing bb with you most times.
Hey mate you know the lyrics are actually ''it's raining men alleluia'' right?
World of Warships, where the less you know about ships and WW2 the more you'll enjoy the game.
Just ONE thing HMS Warspite did: hit the Italian battleship Guilio Cesare in July 1940 at a range of about 26,000 yds which is considered the equal longest range confirmed hit on a moving target by guns fired from a moving ship.
There's a good case to be made that KMS Scharnhorst truly holds that record by AT MOST about 450 yards, achieved while sinking the RN CV HMS Glorious. When we're talking no more than 450 yards difference over 26,000 however it's really only something nerds bother with, LOL.
p.s. I wonder if you make such statements because you know it will drive comments. Sad what the YT economic system does to us, isn't it?
What's you AA type?
killing CV is a Holy Crusade
"let me play" is what everyone wishes they could say to every CV player.
87 planes... 9 over the historical maximum carrying capacity of the USS Lexington (CV-2). Well done wargaming, very historically accurate.
That ship is so stupidly fucking broken. That rate of fire with the booster, the concealment, the maneuverability, and of course American light cruiser anti-citadel plot armor make this one of WG's dumbest fucking ships to date.
Took your advice from a previous Austin game on being a "Team Player". I was in a Jinan and stayed close to an Ohio in ranked who was then targeted by the CV. I didn't score well in that game but helped keep him alive way longer than he should have been being targeted by a Tier 10 CV. I got multiple compliments from players for the non-selfish team play. I know it sounds stupid, but please include any comments on "this is how to be a team player" for us noobs. Love the videos bro - keep killing it!
Hmmm. Not sure if taking the piss or being serious lol either way, I'm sure Jingles will be there, "Well Actually Flambass........" bahahaha
SAP not effective against Napoli
Well, if you attack with a T8Cv on T10 ships, then that's what happens to your planes. No surprises there
To be fair, Warspite did a lot but also got the 2nd best Snipe in terms of distance on a moving ship with beeing only surpassed by Scharnhorst. Hit Cesare from about 24km while Scharnhorst hit Glorious from around 25.6km
Kudos to Scharnhorst for sniping a CV in general. What a chad ship
Epic positioning of the seattle...what's that I can use islands to shoot over.....the stupid is real! I'll stay near cv and shoot down planes instead...
The Warspite thing....... you have embarrassed yourself. Sorry, no gentler way of putting that. Just staggering.
This is what AA ships should be doing against planes. Every single plane gone without being able to strike the ship.
