The date on the blackboard reads 23rd February. That was the last day the children attended this school in southern Ukraine. And it was the day before Russia invaded Ukraine. Since then the school has been used as an impromptu bomb shelter by local residents sheltering from Russian attacks. With the Russian forces now gone, the focus for teachers is to repair the damage the school suffered, regain electricity and work to enable children to return to class. #Ukraine #russia #ukrainerussiawar #putin #kyiv SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube channel for more videos: 🤍 Follow us on Twitter: 🤍 Like us on Facebook: 🤍 Follow us on Instagram: 🤍 Follow us on TikTok: 🤍 For more content go to 🤍 and download our apps: Apple: 🤍 Android 🤍 Sky News videos are now available in Spanish here/Los video de Sky News están disponibles en español aquí 🤍 Sky News videos are also available in German here/Hier können Sie außerdem Sky News-Videos auf Deutsch finden: 🤍 To enquire about licensing Sky News content, you can find more information here: 🤍

Douglas Murray: World must demand a 'genuine answer' on COVID-19 origin

Author Douglas Murray has criticised recent comments made by Dr Anthony Fauci relating to the Trump administration's handling of China amid the outbreak of COVID-19. Dr Anthony Fauci – America's leading infectious disease official – recently took aim at the Trump administration, saying it "clearly" had an "anti-China approach" right from the very beginning. Dr Fauci said the Trump administration had an "accusatory nature" in its approach to China. "Fauci is just so desperate to make this entirely an issue of the Trump Administration's ... lack of diplomacy," Mr Murray told Sky News Australia host Rita Panahi. "This had very little to do with that. "The main problem and the questions about the source of the virus continue and they continue because of the Chinese Communist Party's wilful attempt to cover-up and make sure the world doesn't find out what was happening in Wuhan. "And I just don't think anyone should be deflected by this Fauci move or by anyone else. "I'm very keen that the civilised world gets together and continues to demand a genuine answer to why this virus got out and how we'll make sure that it never happens again. "But I don't see that unanimity – I see people like Fauci saying 'well, let's blame Trump, let's blame Biden, let's blame anyone but the Chinese Communist Party'."

Donald Trump has called Kanye West a "seriously troubled man" after he received criticism for meeting with the disgraced rapper last week. The 'Stronger' singer claimed he asked Trump to be his vice president and said he was "most perturbed" at the suggestion. Ye brought far-right activist Nick Fuentes to the meeting at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday. The former US president said he was not aware of who Nick Fuentes was or that the white nationalist was going to be at the dinner with West. “So I help a seriously troubled man, who just happens to be black Ye (Kanye West), who had been decimated in his business and virtually everything else, and who had always been good to me, by allowing his request for a meeting at Mar-a-Lago, alone, so that I can give him very much needed ‘advice,’” Trump said on 'Truth Social'. West came under fire last month, losing a lucrative partnership with Adidas over his online anti-Semitic rants which also got him suspended from Instagram and Twitter. Twitter CEO Elon Musk has since reinstated the rapper's account.

I love making videos about science with an unnatural level of enthusiasm. I like to focus on how we know things, not just what we know. And especially, the things we still don't know. If you've ever wondered about something in space and couldn't find an answer online - you can ask me! My day job is to do research into how supermassive black holes can affect the galaxies that they live in. In particular, I look at whether the energy output from the disk of material orbiting around a growing supermassive black hole can stop a galaxy from forming stars. 🤍 🤍
