TotalMix FX comes with two types of effects: Insert effects, namely the EQ and Compressor, and Send effects like Reverb and Delay. While the Insert Effects are available on a per channel basis on all input and output channels, the Send Effects are on a separate effects bus. Furthermore the reverb and Delay can quickly activated or deactivated with our Remote Control ARC USB. All effects are DSP based which means that these effects are coming from the Interface’s internal DSP Chip and therefore won’t affect your CPU load. That is precisely the reason why some older RME Audio Interfaces and current Interfaces with no DSP chip do not have effects. - If you are wondering which RME Audio Interfaces do feature effects please download our PDF Comparison Chart: 🤍 - If you like skip and listen to the Effects separately: 1:50 EQ 3:00 Compression 4:05 Reverb 5:03 Delay - Make sure you subscribe to our channel: 🤍 Follow RME Audio on Facebook: 🤍 Follow RME Audio on Twitter: 🤍

Find out more about Ferrofish AD/DA converters here: 🤍 Find out more about RME interfaces here: 🤍 In this video, we talk about pairing Ferrofish's Pulse 16 AD/DA converter with the RME Digiface USB to create a simple, high-end recording setup that is perfect for producers, composers and musicians who require a large number of line level inputs for hardware instruments. As well as talking about what makes this pairing ideal for users of hardware instruments like synthesisers and drum machines, we go through the install and connection process for these two devices, giving you everything you need to get started with this powerful recording setup. The Pulse 16 series is a series of high quality AD/DA converters from German pro audio manufacturer Ferrofish, featuring extensive I/O connectivity as well as intuitive front panel controls and remote control operation via Ferrofish’s RemoteFish software application. The RME Digiface USB is a compact 66-channel USB audio interface, carrying audio digitally with the use of ADAT connections. This means that this tiny interface can carry 8 channels of audio via a single lightpipe connection. What's more, like all RME interfaces, the Digiface USB gives you access to Totalmix, RME's comprehensive software mixer that provides complete control over all audio channels coming in and out of your interface. RME’s ADI-2 series comes equipped with a sophisticated and powerful Parametric Equalizer. Five EQ bands with different filter shapes give precise control over the complete frequency spectrum. The graphical interface is clean and shows exactly the EQ curve as well as a current output volume meter. Changes in volume by boosting or cutting frequency bands are therefore instantly visible. In this video we give you a short demo of what the EQ is capable of. Listen how gentle and smooth the Equalizer operates. There are no unpleasant artifacts, even at drastic settings. Since the release of Version 1.30 TotalMix FX comes equipped with an alternative operational mode called the „DAW Mode“. It is essentially a more streamlined and simplified interface for users who don’t need the full feature set of TotalMix FX. In this episode, I'll be unboxing and hooking up my brand new RME FireFace UFX+ and RME 12Mic preamp via a MADI connection, using the RME SFP module and a fiberoptic cable. This is a huge upgrade for my own home studio, and I just wanted to share the excitement. I'll get it hooked up and at least get some signal passing through it. Sorry I didn't get around to unboxing and installing the ARC USB this time. I'll make another video soon to cover that! Find out more about the RME M-32 DA Pro and M-32 AD Pro at 🤍. We caught up with Marc Schettke, the head developer on the new RME M-32 AD Pro and M-32 DA Pro high-end multi channel converters. As well as the exceptional sound quality, the RME M-32 Pro converters offer a number of features that are perfect for studio, live, broadcast, archive, spatial 3D or immersive audio and industrial applications. The RME M-32 Pro series feature 32 analogue I/O on 25-pin D-subs and 2 x MADI I/O via separate optical SC and coaxial BNC, giving you up to 128 channels. It also features AVB on an RJ45 giving you 4 streams, with 4, 8 , 12 and 16 channels on each. As it is a professional converter that will be used on critical live productions, the M-32 Pro series also has 2 x monitored fully redundant internal PSU’s. Word Clock I/O on BNC is of course onboard, as well as USB 2.0 and optional MIDI I/O for remote control. Apart from now being a 1U box instead of 2U, one of the most striking and obvious changes to the original M-32 are the 32 large level displays which allow you to see any clipping issues at a glance. This is very useful, especially when sat in a large rack of gear. As well as the onboard screen, which allows you to access all the settings, RME have also provided the M-32 Pro with a web interface which you can access via a browser. The RME M-32 AD Pro and M-32 DA Pro will be available in October 2018 from Synthax Audio UK. Subscribe to our Channel here: 🤍 Links: Website: 🤍. Facebook: 🤍 Twitter: 🤍 Instagram: 🤍
Find out more about the RME Fireface UCX II at; 🤍 In this video, we dive in to the brand-new Fireface UCX II from RME, the 40-channel Advanced USB Audio Interface. With SteadyClock FS, DC-Coupled Outputs and Direct USB Recording, it's clear to see why RME have labelled the UCX II as an advanced audio interface. The UCX II continues RME's tradition of producing powerful and flexible interfaces for the professional audio market, packing the kind of connectivity and features into a half-rack size unit that is often spread over two - or even three - 19 inch panels. Throughout its 25 year history, RME has been fully committed to a principle of flexibility - the more flexible a product, the more easily it can be adapted to new requirements. For company founder Matthias Carstens, this lies at the heart of RME's success: "The Fireface UCX II makes us proud and enthusiastic as it represents a natural evolution of our product range." "Boasting up to 20 recording and 20 playback channels, SteadyClock FS, high-performance microphone inputs, built-in parametric EQ, USB direct recording plus full stand-alone functionality, the brand-new Fireface UCX II truly represents the essence of freedom and flexibility. At present, no existing audio interface offers more connectivity and functionality in a half-rack package." Subscribe to our Channel here: 🤍 Links: Website: 🤍. Working from within his “Sonic Shed” – an old industrial structure hidden behind a grade II listed building in Wandsworth, South-West London – Marco Perry creates experiences for audiences that blend visuals with spatial audio installations. Marco’s passion for immersive audio also attracted the attention of experimental singer Bjork, for whom he designed an immersive audio experience for her exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
