One of the best food that I can still enjoy since living low carb is fried rice. Who could have imagined that there are zero carb rice which are healthy and so versatile as they can be made into savory and sweet dishes. That's why miracle rice and noodles are my savior. This is a simple and tasty fried rice which can be dished up in a few minutes. I love colorful dishes as we eat with our eyes so bell peppers are a good way to add colors and they're low in carbs too. I like to use egg yolks for fried rice as they add such a vibrant golden color to the dish. Plus it's a good way to use up my leftover egg yolks from making those low carb almond buns which only requires the whites. In this video, I cooked for two portions but the recipe provided here is for one portion. You can replace the protein and veggies with anything that you like. INGREDIENTS 1 packet of miracle rice from Miraclenoodle 1 boneless chicken thigh (cubed and marinade with soy sauce, pepper & sesame oil) 1/2 cup shrimps (cubed) 1/2 cup diced yellow bell peppers 1/2 cup diced green peppers 1 tbsp minced garlic 1 to 2 bird eyes chilies (optional) 3 egg yolks or 2 whole eggs 1 1/2 tbsp fish sauce Salt and pepper to taste Spring onions (chopped) for garnishing DIRECTIONS 1. Prepare miracle rice per instructions on packaging. 2. In a pan, stir fry the minced garlic until fragrant then add the chicken and shrimps. Stir fry for awhile then add the chilies, bell peppers and seasonings. Add miracle rice and mix evenly. Push the rice to one side of pan, add the egg yolks and scramble until almost dry then mix well with the rice. Adjust taste accordingly. 4. Garnish with spring onions. Link to purchase my books; 1. I made a few alterations to the original GF pasta recipe, but this is entirely optional. I also share the differences between this Keto Rice versus Cauliflower Rice. COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Add 1 cup of Keto Orzo to a bowl and 1.5 tbsp water. Microwave for 15 seconds at a time stirring in-between, until your rice is as soft as you like it. Cauliflower fried rice is an excellent, low carb alternative to regular fried rice. I'm going to show you how to make your own cauliflower egg fried rice at home. Full Printable Recipe inc extra hints and tips here: 🤍 Ingredients: • 2 tbsp vegetable oil • 1 onion peeled and diced • 1 clove of garlic - peeled and minced • 1 red bell pepper deseeded and finely chopped • 2/3 cup (115g) frozen peas • 1/2 tbsp sesame oil • 300 g cauliflower - about 1 large head, grated/riced • 2 eggs • 2 tbsp dark soy sauce • 1/4 tsp salt • 1 tsp lemon juice To Serve: • 1/2 bunch of spring onions/scallions chopped Instructions 1. Add the oil to a large wok. Add the onion and cook, stirring regularly on medium heat for 5 minutes until the onion starts to turn soft and translucent. 2. Add in the chopped red bell pepper, garlic and peas. Cook for a further 2 minutes, stirring regularly. 3. Now add the sesame oil and the grated/riced cauliflower and turn up the heat to high. 4. Use a spatula to toss everything together and to ensure the cauliflower doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan. 5. Once the cauliflower rice is hot (this will take about 3-4 minutes), push the cauliflower over to the side of the pan and crack the two eggs in the space. Add a little splash of the soy sauce to the eggs. 6. Making sure the part of the wok with the eggs in is over the heat, fry the eggs, giving a mix with the spatula until the egg starts to cook and look scrambled, but is still a little runny. 7. Now mix the egg into the cauliflower rice. 8. Pour in the remaining soy sauce and sprinkle on the salt and mix it all together. 9. Add the lemon juice, stir and taste. Add a little more lemon juice if required. 10. Divide between 2 bowls. Top with spring onions (scallions). #LowCarb #Recipe #CookingShow

Low Carb Chicken Biryani is Low-Carb Indian Food at it’s best. Cauliflower and ground meat make up this spicy, delicious low carb recipe. I feel like a genius for having created a low carb “biryani” today, that tastes as good as one with rice, but without the rice. I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, but today’s scale reading provided the impetus. I came back from our Sri Lankan honeymoon with about 5 kg to lose. I know. I was only gone for 3 weeks. I was careful about portion control. But it was all carbs and I can’t eat carbs without the gainzzz. Good news is, I was expecting it so I’d already planned to cut out carbs once I got home. In a perfect world, I would eat biryani every day. For every meal. I love, love, love biryani. But of course, it loves me too. Enough to cling lovingly to my hips and thighs and dad bod forever. But, I can’t eat rice all the time, so I’d had this idea percolating in the back of my head on how I’d make that biryani low carb. Several of you also asked for a lower-carb version, and today, I came up with this Keto mince Biryani. It tastes bloody awesome! WHAT IS BIRYANI? Only just the best, more aromatic, tastiest, complex version of a meat and rice dish you’ve ever had. That is what a biryani is. Biryani is a popular Indian, Sri Lankan, Pakistani, or Bangladeshi one-pot dish. It’s generally made with rice and some kind of meat (like chicken, lamb etc) that is first cooked on the stove and then transitioned to the oven. It’s usually filled with all kinds of wonderful spices like saffron and is flavorful and delicious. I didn’t have saffron….sooo….no dice It is also crazy time-consuming as a rule. So of course, I have to come up with a variety of short cuts. CAULIFLOWER RICE BIRYANI Fortunately for us, cauliflower rice cooks quickly and if you are low carb, it will satisfy for your craving for a biryani, without all the carbs. The main question for us all, however, is how does this taste? Are you going to eat my keto mince biryani and think it’s EXACTLY like a rice biryani? Nope. I know, I know! you were hoping I’d say this tastes JUST like a rice-based biryani. What can I say? Nothing tastes exactly like real rice. But you can come close. Here’s the bigger thing though, and the question you should be asking yourself. Does this keto rice biryani taste good? Does a bear drop one in the woods? Bloody Oath!! When I’m craving a regular biryani, this takes care of my craving, and on some days, that’s the best I can do. So yeah. It’s not as good as biryani with rice, but for something that uses cauliflower instead of rice, I’m surprised at how well it hits the spot for biryani. Chook is very good at providing honest feedback on my cooking because she knows I’m a perfectionist, and I’d rather redo things than send out a dodgy video of something less than perfect. Ingredients * 500 grams Cauliflower (Riced) * 250 grams Pork or Beef mince * 1 Spring Onion * 2 Cloves of Garlic * 50 grams Cheese * 30 ml Heavy Whipping Cream (2 Tbsp) * 100 grams Chopped Peppers (Colour of Choice) * 8-10 Chopped Olives * 200 grams Baby Spinach * 1 tbsp Butter * 1 tbsp olive oil * Fresh Parsley * 1 Tsp Salt * 1/2 Tsp Pepper * 1/2 Tsp Paprika * 1/4 Tsp Cayenne Pepper * 1 Tsp Dried Oregano * 1/2 Tsp Red Chilli Flakes Instructions * Rice the cauliflower and cook it in a heavy bottom saucepan with 1 tbsp of butter. Season it right at the end once it is cooked and tender. * Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan along with 1 tsp of butter * Add in the white of the spring onion and the pork mince and fry * Make sure you keep stirring and breaking the pork so it doesn't form big lumps. * Chop the garlic and add it to the pan * Season the pork with salt, pepper, paprika, cayenne pepper, dried oregano and chilli flakes. * Add in the bell peppers and spinach and sautee til the spinach wilts. * Add in the cooked cauliflower rice and give it all a good mix * Add in the cheese, heavy cream, parsley and spring onion green and give it another good mix * Finish it off with the chopped olives and a final good mix * Garnish with some fresh parmesan and parsley * Serve

You will never miss white rice after making this! It's amazing, tastes like fluffy rice and best of all, guilt free! Serving Size: 2-3 Ingredients: 1 lb bag of cauli-rice 1 lb shrimp 1/4 cup mixed veggies 2 eggs (you can use 1 as well) 1/4 tsp ground ginger 1 tsp garlic 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce or coconut aminos 1 tsp sesame oil 1/4 cup oil Garnish with cilantro or green onion Directions: 1. Take your frozen bagged cauli-rice and put it in the microwave for 3 minutes. 2. Take out and cut a corner of the bag to drain out all the water. You want to squeeze as much as possible and get all of the water out. Set aside. This is the quickest and easiest way to get fluffy rice. 3. In a pan, turn on medium high heat and add your oil. Cook your shrimp for 1 minute on each side and take them out, placing them on a plate lined with paper towels. 4. Now, take 1-2 tbsps oil out, you'll be saving this for the eggs. Saute your veggies until tender and translucent. 5. Add your cauli-rice and cook until nice and fluffy. Add your soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger and garlic at this time. 6. Now, push the fried rice to the side and make space for your eggs. Add 1 tbsp oil back to your pan and cook your eggs. Add a dash of salt and pepper to season. 7. Now, mix in with the fried rice and add back your shrimp. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes and you're done! Garnish with green onion or cilantro and enjoy! Prep all you ingredients. 2. Place your cauliflower into a food processor and chop until they're the size of rice granules. Don't over process or you'll end up with mashed cauliflower! Work in batches so as to not over process the cauliflower. 3. Get your pan or wok ripping hot. 4. Add some oil to your pan and cook the eggs first, scrambling them. Once they're cooked, set aside. 5. Add some sesame oil or canola oil and make sure it's smoking hot. 6. Add your onions and let them cook a little bit. It's good if they get a little char. 7. Add your garlic and watch it, making sure it doesn't burn - keep mixing it 8. Add your ginger and keep mixing for about 30 seconds. 9. Add the frozen vegetables and mix for a second, then let it cook. 10. Add your cauliflower rice, soy sauce, fish sauce, and turmeric. Mix. 11. Once it's mostly mixed, mix in your eggs. Add a lot of white pepper and continue mixing. Feel free to add some red pepper at this point to add some heat! 12. Let the cauliflower cook for 3-4 minutes. 13. Remove from the pan and serve hot. At age 10, Terada learned the basics of sushi from his father and then went on to attend RKC Chef's School in Kochi, Japan from 1987-1989. After graduating RKC Chef School, he was called to serve under Master Chef Kondo at Yuzuan restaurant in Kochi, Japan from 1989-1992. FULL RECIPE: 🤍 KETO RICE PUDDING Honestly, this is two recipes in one, depending on the rice-substitute you pick. With the Miracle rice, the texture is a bit more like tapioca pudding, and with the cauliflower rice it's a bit more like rice pudding, but both versions taste great! A little extra sweetener and spice help neutralize the cauliflower taste if you take that route, and it helps to use frozen riced cauliflower so you can thaw it and easily squeeze out any excess liquid before using it in this recipe. Also, added beautiful low carb vegetables. #ketorecipes #lowcarb #keto INGREDIENTS 1. Butter 2 cubes(small) 2. Olive Oil 1 tbsp 3. Garlic cloves 2, minced 4. Grated ginger 1 tbsp 5. Green Chili 1 tbsp 6. Cauliflower 250g (ready to cook' cauliflower) 7. Spring onion (for garnishing) 8. Green, Yellow, and Red peppers - total 100g 9. Black pepper 1 tsp 10. Roasted cumin powder 1 tsp 11. Salt to taste 12. Lemon juice 13. Coriander leaves INSTRUCTIONS PREP CAULIFLOWER 1) Remove the core and coarsely chop into florets and wash properly 2) Grate the cauliflower either on a) a hand-held grater b) a food processor fitted with the grating disc. Set aside (This step can be skipped if using 'ready to cook' cauliflower rice) STIR FRY 1) Heat 2 small butter cubes and 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large (10 or 12-inch) nonstick pan over medium heat 2) Add the garlic, ginger, and green chili and cook, stirring often, until softened but not browned, 30 seconds 3) Add Green, Yellow and Red peppers and cook, storing often for about 3-4 minutes 4) Add black pepper, roasted cumin powder, salt, and green onions. Mix all and immediately add the grated cauliflower. Cook, stirring often, for about 4 minutes and continue cooking until the cauliflower "rice" is tender-crisp and the vegetables are warmed through, a few minutes FINISHING TOUCHES Stir in chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice the peas and carrots. It's finely textured. It's even white if you omit the spices. Dead ringer. One of the most popular sides for a ketogenic diet is “faux rice”, or Low Carb Cauliflower Rice. It is super simple to make and we’ve thrown together a quick recipe to get you started. One large head of cauliflower will yield 6-8 cups of cauliflower rice. When making the rice for your family, allow 1 cup per person as a small side dish. Ingredients for Making Your Low Carb Cauliflower Rice: * 1 head of cauliflower * 2 tsp Butter * ½ teaspoon of Salt Instructions for Making Your Low Carb Cauliflower Rice: 1. Cut the cauliflower into evenly sized florets and place into your food processor, only filling half the bowl at a time. 2. Blend the cauliflower using the pulse setting. Continue to pulse until it resembles rice. If there are any large pieces, remove them and blend them separately. 3. Cook in microwave for 6 minutes in container with a lid to steam itself 4. Remove from microwave and serve. Enjoy. Low Carb Cauliflower Rice can also be cooked in the microwave: 1. Place cauliflower rice, butter, and salt in a microwave safe dish.2.
