Cover and cook till the tomatoes become soften. Add grinded coconut masala and mix them well. Then pour some water into the masala bowl and add the water into curry pan. Add sufficient amount of water into the pan ,cover and boil them well. Add cleaned chicken pieces mix them well. Cover and cook till the chicken become soften . Remove from fire and set aside. Chicken - 1 kg Onion - 2 big Salt - to taste Ginger - 1 big piece Garlic - 1 bulb Coriander leaves - a big bunch Turmeric powder - ¾ tbsp Coriander powder - 2 tbsp Chilli powder - 1 tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tbsp Kasuri methi - 1 big pinch, for flavour Green chilli - to taste Curd - 2 tbsp Garam masala - to taste Salt - to taste Oil Hi everyone, today I am here with a special Easter chicken curry recipe. Firstly, thinly slice two big onions and rub the onions with some salt and squeeze out all the juice from the onion and fry it in oil until the onion turns golden brown in colour. After frying the onion till golden, remove it from the oil and keep it aside. Next, prepare some ginger garlic paste by grinding together a big piece of ginger and a whole bulb of garlic in the small jar of your mixer grinder and set aside. Next, grind a big bunch of coriander leaves into a coarse paste in the small jar of your mixer grinder and set it aside as well. Next, in a large mixing bowl, add one kg of cut chicken and marinate the chicken with ¾ tablespoon of turmeric powder, 2 tablespoon of freshly ground coriander powder, a tablespoon of chilli powder, a tablespoon of Kashmiri red chilli powder, a big pinch of Kasuri methi, two slit green chilies, 2 tablespoons of thick curd and some salt to taste. Finally add the thinly sliced and fried onion into the bowl, which was initially made and kept aside, and mix well with the marinade and the chicken. Adjust the quantity of chilly powder as your taste preference. Marinate the chicken for around two hours or for an overnight or at least half an hour. You can even leave it in the refrigerator to marinate. Once the chicken is marinated and ready, start preparing the curry. To prepare the curry, into the same oil in which you fried the onion, add the ginger garlic paste and coriander leaves paste and fry it till golden brown and until its raw smell goes away. Once the paste has sorted and turns golden brown, add the marinated chicken and mix well and let it cook on a medium to low flame with a lid closed, stirring occasionally until the curry oozes out its oil from the gravy. Once ready, season the curry with some garam masala to taste and your delicious curry is ready to be served!!

Ingredients Chicken – 1 kg Ginger-1 nos Garlic – 7 to 8 nos Onion – 2 nos Shallots – 2o to 22 nos Curry leaves – 3 to 4 sprigs Coconut pieces – ½ cup Red chilli powder- 2 tbsp Coriander powder – 1 ½ tbsp. Garam masala – 1 tbsp Pepper powder – 1 tbsp Turmeric powder – ½ tbsp. Salt – 1 or 2 tsp Oil – 3 or 4 tbsp Method Firstly cut ,clean and wash ,then set aside. Then we have to crush ginger ,garlic and green chilli ,keep aside. Again we crush some shallots approximately 10 to 12 nos,keep a side. Heat a pan add red chilli powder and coriander powder saute for some minutes and set aside. Take a bowl add crush shallots,crush ginger garlic ,green chilli paste,turmeric powder,sauted red chilli and coriander powder ,oil and curry leaves mix then well. Then take a wide bowl add chicken pieces , masala mix like crush shallots, sauted red chilli powder and coriander powder etc and salt .mix them well and marinated for half an hour. Heat oil in apan add chopped onion and saute for some minutes . Then add marinated chicken pieces mix them well ,cover and cook for 7 to 8 minutes. Now add some water and combine them well . Cover and cook till the chicken become soften. Ones the chicken is ready add coconut pieces,garam masala and pepper powder ,cook for some minutes. Remove from fire and set aside. Heat oil in a small pan add chopped shallots and curry leaves ,fry them well . Then pour the mixture into the chicken curry pan mix them well. Serve and enjoy the tasty curry with appam . Ingredients Chicken - 1 kg Shallots - 9 to 10 nos Onion - 2 or 3 nos Garlic - 7 to 8 nos Ginger - 1 nos Tomatoes - 1 nos Coconut pieces - 1/2 cups Turmeric powder - 1 tbsp Red chilli powder - 1 1/2 tbsp Coriander powder - 1 tbsp Pepper powder - 1 tbsp Chicken masala - 1 tbsp Salt - 1 or 2 tbsp Method Firstly we have to cut and wash the chicken . Take a pan, add cleaned chicken pieces and turmeric powder. Then cover and marinated for half an hour Crush ginger and garlic into smooth paste Heat oil in pan add mustard seed ,let them spluttered . Add curry leaves,shallots and onion,saute for few minutes Add chopped coconut pieces and saute them well. Then sprinkle some salt and turmeric powder ,saute them well. Add crushed ginger garlic paste and saute them well. Then add red chilli powder ,coriander powder,pepper powder and chicken masala,saute them well. Add chopped tomatoes and saute till they become soften. Cover and boil them well. Remove the lid and saute them well. Then add marinated chicken pieces and combine them well. cover and cook till the chicken become well cooked Remove the lid and pour some water ,saute them well. Again cover and cook for 5 to 6 minutes. When the curry reaches the desired consistency, Remove it from the heat and set it aside. Serve and enjoy the tasty chicken curry with boiled tapioca or rice. ചേരുവകൾ ചിക്കൻ - 1 കിലോ ചെറുയഉള്ളി - 9 മുതൽ 10 വരെ എണ്ണം സവാള - രണ്ടോ മൂന്നോ എണ്ണം വെളുത്തുള്ളി - 7 മുതൽ 8 എണ്ണം ഇഞ്ചി - 1 എണ്ണം തക്കാളി - 1 എണ്ണം തേങ്ങാക്കൊത്ത് - 1/2 കപ്പ് മഞ്ഞൾ പൊടി - 1 ടീസ്പൂൺ മുളക് പൊടി - 1 1/2 ടീസ്പൂൺ മല്ലിപ്പൊടി - 1 ടീസ്പൂൺ കുരുമുളക് പൊടി - 1 ടീസ്പൂൺ ചിക്കൻ മസാല - 1 ടീസ്പൂൺ ഉപ്പ് -അവിഷത്തിന് തയാർക്കുന്ന വിധം ആദ്യം ചിക്കൻ മുറിച്ച് കഴുകി എടുക്കണം . ഒരു പാൻ എടുത്ത് വൃത്തിയാക്കിയ ചിക്കൻ കഷ്ണങ്ങളും മഞ്ഞൾപ്പൊടിയും ചേർക്കുക. പിന്നെ മൂടിവെച്ച് അര മണിക്കൂർ മാരിനേറ്റ് ചെയ്യുക ഇഞ്ചിയും വെളുത്തുള്ളിയും ചതച്ച് പേസ്റ്റാക്കി മാറ്റുക ചട്ടിയിൽ എണ്ണ ചൂടാക്കി കടുക് പൊട്ടിക്കുക. കറിവേപ്പില, ചെറുപയർ, ഉള്ളി എന്നിവ ചേർത്ത് കുറച്ച് സമയം വഴറ്റുക ഇതിലേക്ക് അരിഞ്ഞ തേങ്ങാ കഷ്ണങ്ങൾ ചേർത്ത് നന്നായി വഴറ്റുക. ശേഷം കുറച്ച് ഉപ്പും മഞ്ഞൾപ്പൊടിയും വിതറി നന്നായി വഴറ്റുക. ചതച്ച ഇഞ്ചി വെളുത്തുള്ളി പേസ്റ്റ് ചേർത്ത് നന്നായി വഴറ്റുക. ശേഷം ചുവന്ന മുളകുപൊടി, മല്ലിപ്പൊടി, കുരുമുളക് പൊടി, ചിക്കൻ മസാല എന്നിവ ചേർത്ത് നന്നായി വഴറ്റുക. തക്കാളി അരിഞ്ഞത് ചേർത്ത് വഴറ്റുക. ഇവ നന്നായി മൂടി വെച്ച് തിളപ്പിക്കുക. അടപ്പ് നീക്കം ചെയ്ത് നന്നായി വഴറ്റുക. ശേഷം മാരിനേറ്റ് ചെയ്ത ചിക്കൻ കഷണങ്ങൾ ചേർത്ത് നന്നായി യോജിപ്പിക്കുക. ചിക്കൻ നന്നായി വേവുന്നത് വരെ മൂടി വെച്ച് വേവിക്കുക അടപ്പ് മാറ്റി കുറച്ച് വെള്ളം ഒഴിച്ച് നന്നായി വഴറ്റുക. വീണ്ടും മൂടി 5 മുതൽ 6 മിനിറ്റ് വരെ വേവിക്കുക. ചിക്കൻ വെന്ത് കഴിയുമ്പോൾ അടുപ്പിൽ നിന്ന് മാറ്റി വയ്ക്കുക. വേവിച്ച കപ്പ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ചോറിനൊപ്പം രുചികരമായ ചിക്കൻ കറി ആസ്വദിക്കുക ചെയ്യുക.

Saute well..when raw smell goes add big onion,small onion ,green chilli and salt ..saute well When the onion become light brown in colour ,add all the masalas (chilly powders,turmeric powder,coriander powder d garam masala ) and mix well and stir well until the raw smell of the masala goes Then add tomato pieces and salt … Close the pan with a lid and allow it to cook for 5 minutes in a low flame .. Open the kadai and mix well .. Then add cleaned chicken pieces into the masala and mix well.Close the pan and cook for 10 minutes in medium flame stirring occasionally .. By that time u can see water coming out from the chicken,let the chicken cook in that water only .. .In between open the kadai and stir well . U can check the salt..(If necessary add salt).When the chicken is cooked(chicken will be soft by that time ) add garam masala powder,curry leaves and hot water.. Cook for another few minutes or until the gravy become medium thick . By that time u can see the gravy to be dark brown in colour and oil will be coming out .. now add green chilli slices and tomato ..and lots of curry leaves .. close the kadai for few minutes .. Transfer in to the serving bowl and serve with appam,chapati,pathiri etc… If u want u can add thick coconut milk in the end ..It increases the taste and best combination with pathiri..:) U can adjust the spice level according to ur taste ..:) small tip: Actually the most diff thing is to cut onion when we make chicken or biriyani etc… ..Dont waste ur tears😉 .So from now no more tears…!! So when we start making chicken or anyother recipe first peel the onion and wash them and keep it inside the freezer for min half an hour .And keep doing other works..Remember to close the onion( u can put them in a air tight paper bag or in a vessel with a lid) coz if we keep onion in the freezer with out closing,the smell will be remain in the freezer for long .. Ingredients Chicken – 1 kg Onion – 3 or 4 nos Tomatoes – 2 nos Ginger – 1 nos Garlic – 7 to 8 nos Red chilli powder – 2 tbsp Turmeric powder – 1 tbsp Coriander powder – 11/2 tbsp Garam masala – 1 tbsp Fennel powder – 1 tsp Fennel seed – 1 tsp Salt – 1 or 2 tsp Oil 2 or 3 tbsp Method Firstly we have to cut and wash ,then drain and set aside. Take a bowl add washed chicken pieces,salt,red chilli powder and turmeric powder mix them well and marinated for 30 minutes. Grind ginger and garlic into fine paste and keep a side. Heat oil in a pan add fennel seed ,let crackled . Add chopped onion ,green chilli ,ginger garlic past ,curry leaves and salt saute them well for 4 to 5 minutes. Then add chopped tomatoes and cook till they become soften. Add curry powders like turmeric powder, red chilli powder ,garam masala and coriander powder saute them well. Add marinated chicken pieces and sufficient amount of water mix them well. Cover and cook till the chicken become soften. Finally add some fennel seed powder and mix them well. Then cooked the chicken has roasted and most of the water has been cooked off. Remove from fire and set aside. Kerala Chicken Fry Recipe: Chicken (medium-size pieces) - 500 grams Shallots - 6 nos Green Chilli - 3 nos Ginger - 2-inch piece Garlic - 8 nos Curry Leaves - 15 nos Coconut Oil - 1 tbsp Salt - ¾ tsp Black Pepper Powder - ½ tsp Kashmiri Chilli Powder - 1 ½ tsp Coriander Powder - 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder - ½ tsp Fennel Powder - ½ tsp Rice Flour - 2 tbsp Curry Leaves - 25-30 nos Oil (for deep-frying) - As Needed Cooking Instructions: 1. Blend the shallots, green chillies, ginger, garlic, curry leaves and coconut oil into a paste. 2. Add the chicken along with salt, black pepper powder, Kashmiri chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and fennel powder. Mix well using your hands. Marinate for at least 30 minutes. 3. Add rice flour and mix well. 4. Deep fry in oil on high heat for 2 minutes. Reduce the flame to medium and cook for 6 more minutes. Kerala Chicken Biryani Recipe: Chicken Masala Shallot - ½ Cup Green Chilli (roughly cut) - 6 nos Oil - 2 tbsp Ghee - 3 tbsp Onion (sliced) - 2 Cups Ginger-Garlic Paste - 3 tbsp Coriander Powder - 1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp Salt - 1 tsp Mint Leaves - ¼ Cup Coriander Leaves - ¼ Cup Curd - ½ Cup Chicken (Biryani cut) - 1 kg Tomato (sliced) - 1 Cup Cookd’s Biryani Masala - 1 ½ tsp Rice Jeera Samba Rice - 1 kg Ghee - 2 tbsp Cardamom - 4 nos Bay Leaf - 3 nos Clove - 5 nos Cinnamon - 2-inch piece Mace - 2 nos Water - 6 Cups (1.5 litres) Salt - 1 tbsp Sugar - 1 tsp Other Ingredients: Fried Onion - ¼ Cup + ¼ Cup Cashew Nuts (fried) - 10 nos Raisins (fried) - 20 nos Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp + 2 tbsp Ghee - 2 tbsp Cooking Instructions: Chicken Masala: 1. Grind the shallots and green chilli into a fine paste. 2. Heat oil and ghee in a pan. Add the onion and saute until translucent. 3. Add the ginger-garlic paste, shallot green chilli paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt. 4. Cook until the oil starts getting released from the sides, around 10 minutes. 5. Add the mint leaves, coriander leaves and curd. Mix well. 6. Add the chicken pieces and stir. Cover and cook for 10 minutes on medium heat. 7. Add the sliced tomatoes and biryani masala. Cover and cook for 10 more minutes. Take off the heat. Rice: 1. Wash and soak the rice in water for 15 minutes. 2. Heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan. Add all the whole spices except bay leaf and saute until aromatic. 3. Add the water and bring it to a boil. Season with salt and sugar and add the bay leaf. Add the soaked rice and cook until the rice almost reaches the level of the water. 4. Cover tightly and cook for 10 minutes. Layering the Biryani: 1. Spread the chicken in the bottom of a heavy-bottomed vessel. Add half of the fried onion and coriander leaves. 2. Add the rice on top. Top with fried onion, cashews and raisins, coriander leaves and ghee. Cover tightly with aluminium foil and a lid. 3. Heat a Tawa and place the vessel on top. Cook on a low flame for 10 minutes. Ramadan Special Simple & Easy Chicken Curry Ramadan# Chicken -1kg Turmeric powder - little more than ¼ tbsp Ginger garlic paste - 2 tablespoon Chili powder - ¾ tbsp Thick curd - 2 tbsp Almonds - 40g Coriander seeds - 2 tbsp Peppercorns - ¾ tbsp Cumin seeds - ¼ tbsp Dried red chillies - 5 Or as per taste Kasuri methi - ¾ tbsp Onion - 2 big Green chilli - 2 nos or as per taste Cream - ½ cup Ghee - 1tbsp Salt Oil Hi everyone, today I am going to show the recipe of a very simple yet rich mughlai chicken curry.. The first step to prepare chicken curry is to marinate one kg of chicken with little more than quarter tablespoon of turmeric powder, 2 tablespoons of ginger garlic paste, ¾ tablespoon of chilli powder and 2 tablespoons of thick curd which is not very sour, along with some salt to taste. Marinate the chicken and leave it to rest for at least 30 minutes or for an hour or more in the refrigerator. The next step is to prepare the masala for the curry.. for that, dry roast 40 g of almonds in a pan and when the almonds heat up, add 2 tablespoons of whole coriander seeds, ¾ tablespoons of peppercorns, ¼ tablespoon of cumin seeds, a few dried red chilies or as per your taste and dry roast really well until all the spices turn aromatic.. next, add ¾ tablespoon of Kasuri methi to the masala and roast it for a few more seconds and immediately transfer it into the smallest jar of a mixer grinder and grind it into a fine powder and set it aside.. To prepare chicken curry, heat a pan and add some sunflower oil into it and as the oil heats up, add two big onion, finely chopped along with two green chilies or as per taste and roast the onion really well until the onions turn brown and caramelise.. Once the onions are caramelised, add the marinated chicken into the pan and give it a good mix until all the onion mix with the chicken.. next, add two glasses of hot boiling water and give it all a good mix. In the next step, add the masala powder which we just made and give it a good mix and set the flame on low and cover the curry with a lid so that it cooks on a low flame.. Make sure to stir the curry occasionally so that it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan.. The chances of this happening are high because we have added almonds into the gravy.. Once the gravy of the curry turns thick and the oil starts to separate from the gravy, add half a cup of heavy cream into the curry and give it all a good mix and let it simmer for a few more minutes with the lid closed. Once the gravy has turned thick, top it with a tablespoon of ghee and give it a mix and the curry is ready to be served.. This mughlai chicken curry is very rich and is very versatile, Enjoy the curry with appam, chapati, rice or bread..
