These crunchy fried mushrooms are so juicy on the inside and super crispy on the outside. This recipe is really easy to make. In this recipe eggs are not required so the recipe is vegan. In a medium size bowl stir flour, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, oregano and baking powder. Gradually add water, whisking, until smooth. If the batter too runny and 1-2 tablespoons flour, if the batter to thick add 1-2 tablespoons water. Set aside. 2. Slice the mushrooms into thick slices. 3. Dip the mushrooms in the batter, then coat with breadcrumbs. 4. Heat oil in a pan. Fry sliced coated mushrooms for 1-2 minutes, flip and fry 1 minute more, until golden and crunchy. Or dip fry until golden. Transfer to a paper towel to drain. 5. Make the sauce: mix chili with mayonnaise until combined and smooth.

Let's begin Ingredients: 150g oyster mushrooms 1 1/2 cup flour 3/4 cups almond milk (🤍 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar 2 tsp salt pepper to taste 1/2 tsp oregano 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp smoked paprika 1/2 tsp cumin 1/4 tsp cinnamon 1/4 cup chickpea mayo (🤍 1-2 tbsp sriracha 2 cups avocado oil few sprigs parsley lemon wedges to serve Directions: 1. Set up your work station with 2 plates and add 1 cup of flour onto one of the plates. Stir the apple cider vinegar into the almond milk and let it sit for a couple of minutes 2. Add 1/2 cup flour to another plate, season with salt, and pour in the almond milk. Whisk to dissolve the flour. Then, add a generous pinch of salt to the other plate followed by some pepper, oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cumin, and cinnamon. Mix to combine 3. Coat the oyster mushrooms in the dry mix, then in the wet mix, and again in the dry mix (replenish the flour or almond milk as needed). Repeat until all of the oyster mushrooms are coated 4. Make the dipping sauce by mixing together the chickpea mayo and sriracha 5. Pour the avocado oil into a frying pan and heat up on medium heat for 2-3min. Stick a bamboo chopstick into the oil, if there are a lot of fast moving bubbles, it's ready 6. Carefully place in the oyster mushrooms. Fry in small batches to prevent overcrowding the pan. Cook for 3-4min. Flip the mushrooms over and cook for another couple of minutes 7. Carefully transfer the fried mushrooms onto a cooling rack and let them rest for a minute or so before serving 8. They have a thin batter that fries up to be golden and crispy, while the mushrooms themselves remain luscious and juicy! NOTE: IF YOU ARE NOT COMFORTABLE WORKING WITH HOT OIL, PLEASE DO NOT TRY THIS RECIPE. Crisp and Juicy Deep-Fried Mushrooms ½ cup self-rising flour 1/3 cup corn starch ½ cup cold water 1 tablespoon warm vegetable oil 2 teaspoons baking powder vegetable oil for deep-frying (I used peanut oil.) baby portobello mushrooms (as many as you want to fry), cleaned and trimmed, if necessary In a small mixing bowl, combine ½ cup self-rising flour and 1/3 cup corn starch. Stir in ½ cup water. Continue stirring until batter is smooth. You may add more water, a little at a time, to get the consistency of batter that will coat the mushrooms. Stir 1 tablespoon warm oil into batter, and then add 2 teaspoons of baking powder. Mix well. Now, heat your oil in a deep-fry pot, until a test mushroom sizzles. Then you may coat a few mushrooms at a time and put them gently into the hot oil. They will cook very quickly, so tend to them with a metal draining spatula, and lift them out and onto a tray with paper toweling when done. Continue this method until all mushroom are cooked. Pat off any extra oil with a paper towel, and place the Crisp and Juicy Deep-Fried Mushrooms on a nice serving plate. Scrumptious! Rinse 1 Pack Oyster Mushrooms, then season to the instructions of the Ancestors. ( yeah, doing rinse or wash mushrooms, do you boo. But I am going to wash). •Sweet Paprika. •Badia Complete Seasoning. •Ginger Powder. •Slap Ya Mama. •Trader Joe's Onion salt. •Spice Jamaica Jerk Seasoning. •11 00000 Bottles of Garlic Powder. •And let marinate for an hour. •Method: In a bowl mix 1 cup Spelt flour with 1tsp baking powder & ½ cup Silk Almond Milk. •Flour Mushrooms. •Dip Mushrooms in Batter coating well. • In a bowl add a little of the spices mentioned above with, 1 cup Spelt Flour, 1Cup Yellow Cornmeal. •Add Mushrooms to dry mix. •Heat ½ Cup Vegetable oil, or oil of your choice on medium heat. •Add ½ tsp of Paprika to the oil before dropping mushrooms, this gives a nice color. •Add 60 Billon Cloves of Garlic & 1 Scotch Bonnet Pepper to Oil. • Once oil is ready. •Start dropping mushrooms. •Then Fry until nice and tender & crispy like you. For the Coconut Rum Rub, I mixed it separately then add at the end after frying. No, I don't have a recipe for the rub unless you wanna call up Pepper Place and ask them for it. But I did add a Shot of coconut rum to the dry rub. Because I can. I don't own music rights.

Once the oil is hot, deep fry the mushrooms until they turn crispy. Set this aside. -In a stir-frying pan, heat oil, and add finely chopped garlic and onion. Stir fry for a minute. -Add Green chilli, Curry leaves, Chilli powder, Garam Masala powder, Salt, Soy sauce and 2 tbsp of water. -Add deep-fried mushrooms and toss. -Add pepper powder and stir fry for 30 seconds and remove from heat. -Serve hot as an appetizer.
