It’s made of a bowl of rice, sautéed and seasoned vegetables (namul: 나물), a bit of hot pepper paste (gochujang: 고추장), and usually a bit of seasoned raw beef, too (yukhoe: 육회). The most famous type with different stir-fried vegetables, beef, and egg yolk is among many Korean cuisine lovers. Little is known that there are different variations of bibimbap as you can mix everything with rice. Everyone or family has their recipe, so whatever is left in your fridge, you can mix it up and add a spicy sauce made of gochujang, sesame oil, and soy sauce. And it's soooo good! Today, I made one of the classics: yeolmu (young radish leaves) kimchi bibimbap. Recipe (1 serving): Prepare rice, then cut yeolmu kimchi with your scissors, and cook a crispy, fried egg. In a bowl, mix 1 tbsp gochujang, 1 tbsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp corn syrup, 1 tbsp soy sauce, and 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds, and 1/2 tbsp garlic. Top off the rice with kimchi, egg, and sauce. Mix well. You can also add more sesame seeds or/and sesame oil to your liking. Enjoy! 😉

Join me in this episode and learn how to make a sheet pan style Korean inspired bibimbap recipe right at home! Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups short grain rice 1 1/2 cups water 1 red onion 100g broccolini 100g cherry tomatoes 100g oyster mushrooms 400ml can chickpeas salt and pepper to taste 2-3 tbsp avocado oil 1 tbsp gochujang (🤍 1 tbsp soy sauce 1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil 1/4 cup kimchi (🤍 1 stick green onion 1/2 tsp white sesame seeds Directions: 1. Preheat the oven to 375F 2. Place the short grain rice into a small saucepan (or use a rice cooker). Rinse and drain the rice 2-3 times to get rid of the excess starch. Add 1 1/2 cups water to the rice and heat up to medium high heat. When the water begins to bubble, give the pan a stir and turn the heat down to medium low. Then, cover and cook for 15min 3. Slice the red onion and place onto one section of a baking tray leaving room for the other veggies 4. Chop the broccolini into bite sized pieces and slice the cherry tomatoes in half. Peel down the oyster mushrooms. Add the veggies to the baking tray in their own respective sections 5. Rinse and drain the can of chickpeas and add to the baking tray. Season the veggies with salt and pepper to taste. Then, drizzle over the avocado oil 6. Gently toss the separate sections of veggies to coat. Then, bake in the oven for 25-30min 7. Turn the heat off on the rice but let it steam further for another 10min 8. Make the sauce by stirring together the gochujang, soy sauce, and toasted sesame oil (double this sauce for 2 portions) 9. Assemble the bowl with the rice, kimchi, and the roasted veggies. Season to taste -1/2 cucumber -1 Tbsp each soy sauce and agave -2 Tsp vinegar -1 Tsp chili flakes Mix Protein: -200g firm tofu -1 Tbsp sesame oil -2 Tbsp soy sauce -2 cloves minced garlic Mix and marinate for 30min. Stir-fry the vegetables for 3-5 minutes each. Season with a pinch of salt. 3) Remove excess water from the spinach and bean sprouts. Cut the spinach into pieces with scissors. Marinate spinach and bean sprouts in separate bowls with sesame oil, and a pinch of salt. 4) Top off your rice bowl with the veggies. Add 1 tbsp gochujang and sesame oil or mix 1 tbsp gochujang, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp corn syrup (or honey), and 1 tsp of crushed garlic for the sauce. Enjoy! 🥰

EASY BIBIMBAP RECIPE | FILIPINO STYLE (비빔밥) ASMR Bibimbap (비빔밥) is a Korean rice bowl topped with an array of vegetables and meat and served with a gochujang sauce. Follow my easy step-by-step recipe to make the best Filipino Style Bibimbap! INGREDIENTS: • 1 cup rice For the Bibimbap Toppings: • 4 Sliced Marinated Beef BBQ • 1 Medium White Onion • ¼ Bell Pepper • 16 Mung Bean Sprouts, 숙주 • ½ Cucumber • ½ Medium Onion • 1 Medium Carrot • 4 pcs Pechay • Kimchi • Roasted Sesame Seeds • Salt and Pepper to Taste • Sesame Oil • 1 egg For the Bibimbap Sauce • 1 tbsp of Korean Red Chili Pepper Paste Gochujang, 고추장 • 1 tbsp of Sugar • 1 tbsp of Sesame Oil • 3 tbsp of Water INSTRUCTIONS: For the Bibimbap Bowl Toppings: 1.Beef: Sauté in a skillet for 2 - 3 minutes over medium heat & Cut into thin 2-inch long strips. 2.Sauté the onion , bell pepper and Mung bean sprouts in a lightly oiled skillet for 1 - 2 minutes each over medium-high heat, sprinkling salt and pepper to taste & set aside 3.Petchay : Bring 1 cup of water to a boil with a pinch of salt each. A raw or fried egg and sliced meat (usually beef) are common additions. The hot dish is stirred together thoroughly just before eating.Along with kimchi, bibimbap takes its place among the favored foods in Korean cuisine. Literally meaning 'mixed rice,' it's a popular meal consisting of white rice topped with vegetables, beef, a whole egg, and gochujang (red chili pepper paste). For those who cannot handle the spiciness (like our children), you can substitute with soy sauce or Sriracha (rooster sauce) in place of it. ⭐김대석 셰프 비빔밥 양념장⭐ 고추장 가득 3T(100g), 버터 10g, 소주나 청주 2T, 식초 2방울, 다진 마늘 1/2T, 설탕 1T, 참기름 1T, 통깨 1T 전자레인지에 냉동 버터 50초, 해동 버터 35초 녹여주세요 ⭐비빔밥⭐ -콩나물무침 물에 소금을 약간 넣고 끓인 뒤 콩나물을 넣고 뚜껑 덮고 3분 삶고 차게 식힌다 혼합장 1/2T, 소금 약간, 깨소금 1T, 참기름 1T를 넣고 무친다. -시금치나물 시금치 300g 데친 후 물기를 짜주고 혼합상 1/2T, 소금 약간, 깨소금 1T, 참기름 1T 넣고 무쳐준다. -혼합장= 국간장:멸치 액젓(초피 액젓):참치 액 1:1:1 -당근볶음 당근은 채 썰고 기름 두른 팬에 살짝 볶다 소금 간해준다 -그릇에 밥을 넣고 나물을 돌려 담아준 뒤 양념장을 올려준다 -기호에 따라 양념해 볶은 고기나 소고기를 구워 올려준다 ⭐Chef Kim Dae-seok's Bibimbap Sauce ⭐ 3T (100g), 10g of butter, 2T of soju or Jeongjong, 2 drops of vinegar, 1/2T of minced garlic, 1T of sugar, 1T of sesame oil, 1T of sesame seeds. Melt frozen butter for 50 seconds and thawed butter for 35 seconds in the microwave. ⭐ Bibimbap ⭐ - Seasoned bean sprouts Boil a little salt in water, cover with bean sprouts, boil for 3 minutes, and cool.
