Calgary’s Spruce Meadows Christmas Market has landed in fourth place out of 25 Christmas markets around the world. It comes in after the Toronto Winter Village, which was third on the list. 2022 Spruce Meadows International Christmas Market is presented by TELUS. This year the market will be held over three weekends and will feature booths in the Equi-Plex, Gallery on the Green Congress Hall, Horizons Pavilion, Twin Peaks Pavilion, Courtyard and Founders Plaza. The Riding Hall, Reindeer Alley, and Candy Cane Lane will not be operational in 2022.

Spruce Meadows has unveiled the 2020 Spruce Meadows Christmas Lights Drive Through. This complementary Spruce Meadows Christmas Lights Drive Through will run Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. starting November 27, 2020 until January 3, 2021. If you're looking for fun, safe and warm family and friends holiday experience, come along and drive through Spruce Meadows this Christmas season. Spruce Meadows, is a multi-purpose sports facility near Calgary, Alberta built by the Southern family which opened in 1975. Spruce Meadows is open for visitors 365 days of the year. It is an all-season facility that hosts conventions and trade shows as well as show-jumping and dressage events. Spruce meadows is a world class equestrian facility in Calgary, Alberta Canada. The facility contains an equestrian show jumping complex that comprises 505 acres (2.04 km2). Spruce meadows hosts many big international equestrian completions. There are six major outdoor tournaments and eight indoor tournaments at Spruce Meadows annually. The indoor tournaments are known as the 'Nakoda Series' and are tailored for developing junior/amateur competitors. The outdoor tournaments start with the 'Summer Series' a five-week-long tour that comprises CSI 'National', the CSI 'Continental', the CSI 'Pan American' in June, and then the CSI 'North American' in July. The outdoor season culminates in the Spruce Meadows 'Masters' Tournament in September. Each tournament is well-recognized and attracts a wide array of athletes and their horses from around the world. Other than horse jumping show there are whole bunch of fun activities for kids and whole family like, pony rides, dog shows, face paining, military and civil vehicle exabits, some indoor fun games etc. Spruce Meadows also hots FireFit Championships which is a series of competitions based on fire fighting tasks commonly performed in emergency situations. Firefighters from all across Canada participate in different competitions. 2016 was an unforgettable year at the Spruce Meadows 'Masters', especially the final event on the final day - the CP 'International' presented by Rolex. This prestigious event challenged the best in the world and little did the competitors know upon starting the competition, was it was about to get bigger. The competition went from being a $1 million purse to $3 million by the time the event was done and the first ever million dollar cheque was presented to the winner.
