Subscribe to Our History: 🤍 Vladimir Chernov gives a guided tour of the Kremlin and considers its potency as a symbol of both Soviet authority and military power. He concludes that while the Kremlin and all it embodies is still in control, the institutions held within it are cut off from the multifarious voices of its populace. The Kremlin is Burning: Protests that Started in Moscow Spread across the Country #Russia #Ukraine #UkraineWar #russiaukrainewar #news #russiaukrainenews #War
Inside Russia's $1 Billion Kremlin. There are over twenty Kremlins in Russia, But this particular one (to the video editor: show the Kremlin in the background) is the grandest, the most interesting, famous, expensive, and the most political of them all. Yes, I'm talking about the Moscow Kremlin or as I like to call it a city in a city, it is situated in the heart of Russia, it is the symbol of Russian authority and the official residence of the president of the Russian Federation since 1991. It's filled to the brim with a lot of historical artifacts, magnificent buildings with golden interiors, and exquisite treasures that give it a valuation worth billions of dollars. This prestige, and the fact that one of the richest and most powerful men alive has it as his official residence, makes the twenty-something other Kremlins practically nonexistent. Because let's be honest, you probably didn't know there was another Kremlin until now. A Kremlin for those who don't know what it is, is a well-guarded fortress found in Russian cities and it also metonymically refers to the Russian government. Now, the many other Kremlins may be news to you, but I’m pretty sure the absolute luxury packed in the popular Moscow Kremlin may just be as much news. So in this video, we’ll be talking about all its splendor and glamor that’s giving Buckingham Palace a run for its money.

Kremlin in Shock: Giant Ammunition Depot Blown Up in Moscow #Russia #Ukraine #UkraineWar #russiaukrainewar #news #russiaukrainenews #War
The Moscow Kremlin is the oldest part of the Russian capital Moscow and its historical center. The original castle on the Moskva River, dating from the Middle Ages, was rebuilt as a citadel beginning in the late 15th century. It served as a residence for the Grand Princes of Moscow until the 16th century and then for the Russian tsars until the capital was moved to St. Petersburg in the early 18th century. In the Middle Ages and early modern times, the Kremlin was also the seat of the metropolitans and later patriarchs of Moscow. After the October Revolution, it once again became the center of state power in 1918: initially the seat of the Soviet government, it has been the official residence of the President of the Russian Federation since 1992. The name "Kremlin" is therefore also used as a synonym for the entire Soviet or Russian leadership. Characteristic of the architectural ensemble of the Moscow Kremlin is its fortification complex, which consists of a triangular boundary wall with 20 towers. It was built for the most part between 1485 and 1499 and is well preserved to this day. After its completion, it served several times as a model for similar fortresses built in other Russian cities. Within the Kremlin walls are numerous sacred and secular buildings - cathedrals, palaces and administrative buildings - from different eras. Last but not least, the Kremlin is a museum and, as Russia's political and formerly religious center, was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1990. Together with the neighboring Red Square, which is also on this list, the Kremlin is commonly regarded as Moscow's most important sight. The Kremlin is open to the public and offers individual and group guided tours. Visible are the Cathedral Square with its museums and cathedrals, Armoury Chamber, Tsar Cannon, Tsar Bell, artillery pieces, and the exposition of Russian wooden sculpture and carvings. The Moscow Kremlin Armory Chamber is one of the most famous museums of applied arts in Russia. The building, which now houses the exposition, dates back to 1851. On two floors are exhibited, among other things, historical weapons, jewelry, monarch insignia including the famous cap of Monomakh and unique pieces of goldsmith's and silversmith's craft from the period from the 13th to the 19th century. In total, the armory has more than 4,000 exhibits. Exposition of the Armory Chamber The main entrance to the armory leads to the lower basement, where there are checkrooms, souvenir stores and ticket offices. A staircase leads to the exposition via the higher upper basement floor, the premises of which are now occupied by the Diamond Fund; its entrance is also located there. One flight of stairs further on, visitors first enter the vestibule of the second floor. As a rule, however, guided tours begin with the exhibition halls on the second floor. A wide parade staircase with marble banisters leads to it from the second floor vestibule. Second floor The exhibition rooms on the second floor of the armory occupy a total of five halls. The main focus is on historical weapons as well as everyday objects and church utensils made of precious metals, which once belonged to the tsar's court or the palaces, churches and monasteries of the Kremlin. First floor The exhibition space of the first floor is divided into four halls. The first of them is reached by a staircase from the vestibule. Here are exhibited masterpieces of Russian embroidery craft, including especially representative parade robes of Russian princes, tsars, emperors and church leaders. On display, for example, are mitres and patriarchal vestments originally kept in the sacristy of the Kremlin Patriarchal Palace - Nikon alone, under whom the palace was built, owned about 100 such vestments during his reign. The large display case in the center of the hall shows parade robes of Russian emperors from the beginning of the 18th century: among them are parade robes of empresses Anna Ioannovna, Elizabeth and Catherine II. (the Great), which they wore at their respective coronation ceremonies. Once the heart of Soviet Russia and the center of the communist world, the Kremlin embodies the rich and fascinating cultural heritage of Moscow. This was the first time ever that an American film crew was granted permission to enter and discover the rich treasures and history of the government and system whose ideology swept through half the modern world during the 20th century. From its early beginnings to its present base of power, this fascinating look at the Kremlin comes to us from award-winning filmmaker Lucy Jarvis and is told through actual Kremlin officials.
Accidentally saw the motorcade (cortege, convoey) of Vladimir Putin, The President of Russia, going to Kremlin through the New Arbat (Noviy Arbat) Street in Moscow at the 25th of June, 2022 at about 11PM. According to the news sites, Vladimir Putin came to Kremlin late for the emergency special session. Noviy Arbat (New Arbat) street is only 1km from Moscow’s Kremlin. The way to Kremlin goes through Noviy Arbat then turns to Znamenka street and lead to one of Kremlin Gates used for the entrance of the officials. The Kremlin is built on a large territory of 27 hectares. And a large part of it is reserved for tourists. So, yes! You can visit the Kremlin Palace. But there are two types of tickets, One is to visit the cathedrals squares and the exterior grounds of the Kremlin. Another is to access the museum in the Armory. My personal opinion is to visit both of them because you won’t regret visiting them. There are some other places inside the Kremlin beside the armory and cathedral square. It houses other buildings which you can visit as well but under certain conditions. Now, let’s jump into some interesting facts about this palace. The Kremlin is one of the iconic buildings in Russia, found in the red square and it’s known as the true symbol of Russia. It is the largest active fortress in Europe, consisting of five palaces and four cathedrals. Despite the attack on Moscow in World War II, the Kremlin didn’t suffer any damage as it was cleverly disguised as housing. It was painted and decorated with fake windows and doors and the stars were turned off from shining. The five stars you see on the top of Kremlin weigh one ton each and are made up of royal stone (Ruby) to enhance their shine. But the stars on the top of the Kremlin were not always there. The Kremlin towers were topped with two-headed eagles. In 1935, the Soviet government melted these down and replace them with stars. The tsar-bell which was said to be the largest enormous bell in the world weighed 216 tons and had a diameter of 6.6 meters but was broken down during a fire. In 1990, Kremlin along with red square was elected as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Russia's INSANE Masterplan Becomes Europe WORST Nightmare | This SHOCKS The Entire World #russia #europe #economy Ukrainian officials have expressed concern that Moscow is planning a new round of attacks on power plants. And after being forced to retreat from the city of Kherson, the Russian armed forces are now fortifying their defensive lines in southern Ukraine. Russian troops have also dug trenches and set up barriers since being ordered to withdraw from Kherson earlier this month. The city serves as an entry point to the occupied Crimean Peninsula, and a new Ukrainian offensive could threaten it from the east and south. However, the Kremlin has shot down reports that its forces are about to give up another prize in southern Ukraine. It invaded in February and quickly took control of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant. And now, it seems like Russia has made a master plan to take over this power plant, which is the largest in all of Europe! If You Like This Video; Like, Share, Comment And Subscribe. This Means A lot To Us! Thanks For Watching Our Video; Russia's INSANE Masterplan Becomes Europe WORST Nightmare | This SHOCKS The Entire World Russia has sent managerial and technical personnel to Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. They did that not long after March 4, when they forcibly took over the plant. This also occurred long before Russia formally annexed the Ukrainian province of Zaporizhzhia. Russia's capital, Moscow, finalized the annexation process on October 5. And on the same day, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed an order transferring ownership of the ZNPP to the Russian government. In response to Putin's order, the Rosenergoatom State Concern, which manages Russia's nuclear facilities, has established a Moscow-based ZNPP Operating Company. Also, a Russian national was named ZNPP's chief executive officer. Ukrainian ZNPP CEO Ihor Murashov was detained in Russia sometime between late September and mid October 2022. They also detained several other high-ranking Ukrainian managers individually for several days before expelling them to territory under Ukrainian control. Officials from Rosatom have traveled to ZNPP from Moscow since then. And they brought with them contracts offering employment to the Ukrainian workers working for the rival company. And so, those who choose to sign will be eligible for financial incentives, while those who choose not to will be terminated from their positions. Moreover, renunciation of Ukrainian citizenship in favor of Russian citizenship has not been obligatory. Now, as the current operator of Ukraine's nuclear power plants, the Ukrainian state enterprise Energoatom is trying to maintain some level of control over the ZNPP. Petro Kotin, president of Energoatom, is also the interim chief executive officer of ZNPP. The Energoatom headquarters in Kyiv is where all strategic decisions about the Zaporizhzhia plant will be made. However, technical issues require a decision from ZNPP personnel at the scene. It will be overseen by Ukraine's top engineer and needs the first vice president of Energoatom's approval. You see, the Ukrainian workers at ZNPP are still receiving their salaries and benefits from Energoatom. But only to those who turn down jobs with the Russian subsidiary. The salaries at Energoatom have been increased twice: once in October 2022 and again in January 2023. Moreover, employees who refuse to relocate to Russia are threatened with termination by the Russian operating company. And as I’ve said earlier, they offered them salaries and bonuses under the Russian pay scale in exchange for their services. Plus, it's a significant increase in the going rate in Ukraine. Now, the Russian military's presence on the premises and the Russian company's aggressive jurisdictional battle against a far-off Energoatom can both be intimidating to the Ukrainian workers. The International Atomic Energy Agency or IAEA adheres to the highest standards of observance when it comes to Ukraine's legal jurisdiction over the ZNPP. And as a UN agency, they uphold Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. All at once, the IAEA needs to start talking to the Russian authorities about sending observers to the ZNPP. The International Atomic Energy Agency has already established an International Support and Assistance Mission in Zaporizhzhia. In fact, every four weeks, the agency sends a new team of four experts to the facility. More Details In The Video

SUPPORT ME ON PATREON: 🤍 30 years ago, on December 8th of 1991, the USSR has officially ceased to exist. Despite all the time that's passed, the Soviet influence on the Post-Soviet countries can still be seen today, and Russia is no exception. Besides the Soviet statues and mosaics that can be seen all throughout the former Soviet Union, Russia still houses one of the most important and interesting Soviet monuments ever - the Lenin Mausoleum. When the Soviet revolutionary Vladimir Lenin passed away in 1924, a decision was made to embalm his body and put it on display for the further generations. And today, in 2021, the Lenin Mausoleum still stands near the Kremlin on the Red Square in Moscow and is open for visiting. All of this brings up a question - if the USSR is over with, why is Lenin still on display in the Kremlin? Has anyone ever tried to take the mausoleum down? Who are the people that want it to stay and who are the people that want it gone? Let's talk about the Mausoleum and discuss why Lenin's body is still out there almost 100 years later.
