While I was modeling in Hong Kong, I eventually felt the desire to further my education. I decided to depart the modeling world and move back to Canada, knowing that could be the end of my modeling opportunities. I attended Ryerson University for GCM (Graphic Communications Management), as I thought I might still work in the fashion industry in another capacity. It was in my last year of university, I was introduced to a very basic coding course. I instantly fell in love. From there I knew I wanted to pursue software development but didn't have a clue where to start. I didn't want to go back to university as I just completed a four-year degree. I decided to enroll in a 10-week intensive coding Bootcamp. From there I started working at a small startup learning and growing my technical and soft skills. I then transitioned to a larger company where I am a software developer and technical consultant today. How To Become a Blockchain Developer in 2022? #BlockchainDeveloper #TiffInTech

It means that everyone participates in maintaining and updating the ledger, which makes it practically impossible to falsify. The true power and potential of blockchain is incredible. This is way more impactful than the power of any social media platform or digital-born business like Uber, the blockchain can actually change the fundamental structure of society, and not everyone is necessarily going to be happy about it. There is a lot of good to come from blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, but there are plenty of entities who are in control now that would lose their power if blockchains were to become part of everyday life. Be aware of these things as you are navigating the space and always keep in mind the long term consequences this technology can have on how the world operates. — ► Check out my main YouTube channel here: 🤍 — Gary Vaynerchuk is a serial entrepreneur and the Chairman of VaynerX, a modern day communications parent company, as well as the CEO and Co-Founder of VaynerMedia, a full-service digital agency servicing Fortune 500 clients across the company’s 4 locations. What will be the engine of the next financial revolution? Mauro Casellini speaks in his TEDx talk about the potential that he sees in blockchain technology. He explains how complicated today's financial infrastructure is based on the use case of payments and talks about the opportunity which this newer technology will deliver. In his talk he simplifies the functionality of the blockchain technology which clearly highlight its benefits compared to the traditional, heavily centralized financial infrastructure. Thanks to the distributed ledger technology, peer-to-peer transactions without any single intermediary will be possible. Today we just share information through the internet, but thanks to blockchain, we have finally the opportunity to share money and other asset with each other in a fully decentralized and digital way. Mauro is working in the financial sector since 2006 and in the blockchain space since 2016. Thanks to his background in financial services and his technical affinity, he clearly understands the potential which the blockchain technology delivers for the financial industry nowadays. He has successfully implemented a corporate strategy in the field of blockchain banking for his former employer in Liechtenstein and works now as Head of Europe for a major blockchain financial service provider. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at 🤍 Mauro Casellini is experienced in the field of Blockchain here in Liechtenstein. He is a Board Member of the Crypto Country Association and the CEO of Bitcoin Suisse Liechtenstein. Born and raised in Chur (Switzerland), he has been working in Liechtenstein since 2013. His first job in Liechtenstein was at Bank Frick where he developed a big knowhow in the areas of Banking, Fintech and Payment. This combination inevitably led to the topic of blockchain, where he recognized early that this technology will be the future technology for the financial industry. In his final role, he was Head of Blockchain and PSP, where he implemented the bank's corporate strategy in the field of blockchain banking and payment services. In 2019 he joined Bitcoin Suisse, the leading blockchain financial services provider from Switzerland, where he is now responsible for the European business and driving the company towards obtaining a banking license in Liechtenstein. Blockchain? Quellen: 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍

Bitcoin in vijf minuten: De Blockchain technologie gaat ons (samen)leven drastisch veranderen.

Do you suffer from Crypto Confusion? Then this entertaining and educating documentary is for you! It has won more than a dozen awards at international film festivals. Five years after his first Bitcoin documentary, award-winning producer/director Torsten Hoffmann revisits the topic and sets out to explore the evolution of the blockchain industry and its new lofty promises. Can this technology, designed to operate independent of trust and within a decentralized network, really provide a robust alternative to the Internet as we know it (web3.0)? Cryptopia (2020) Director: Torsten Hoffmann, Michael Watchulonis Writer: Torsten Hoffmann Stars: Andreas M. Antonopoulos, Vitalik Buterin, Laura Shin, Roger Ver, Torsten Hoffmann Genre: Documentary Country: Australia, United States, Germany Language: English, German Also Known As: Cryptopia: Bitcoin, Blockchains and the Future of the Internet Release Date: 14 January 2020 (Australia) Duration: 86 min Filming Locations: Australia, United States, Germany, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Japan, Hong Kong Storyline: Bitcoin has been called one of the most disruptive technologies of our times, threatening banks by building an alternative and decentralized currency system. Some say that its "blockchain" could provide a blueprint for a better and fairer Internet - challenging the dominating technology giants. Despite this potential, Bitcoin is undergoing severe price volatility and the community is facing a bitter internal 'civil war'. Moreover, much of the media coverage is often misinformed or misleading and the general public is still confused about the technology and its larger implications. Join filmmaker Torsten Hoffmann (Bitcoin: The End of Money As We Know It) on his journey to better understand this decentralised technology and the promise of web3.0. This Screen Australia supported and crowdfunded feature documentary introduces the 'big brains and big egos' of this new industry including Andreas Antonopoulos, Laura Shin, Dr. Jemma Green, Charlie Lee, Vitalik Buterin, Preethi Kasireddy, Dr. Robert Kahn, Wences Casares, Samson Mow, Roger Ver, Craig Wright, and many more. Some of the hackers, hipsters and hustlers that Torsten interviewed 5 years ago are now creating a new decentralised web, while others have broken their promises. Can we trust them to build a trustless new cyber utopia or are their projects as unfairly distributed, and easily manipulated as our current systems? Reviews: "A very well balanced and easy to follow documentary that not only hears from the proponents of the space, but also its critics and controversial figures. The documentary opens the kimono to reveal many things newbies and even veterans in the space may have not known. A recommended watch for those curious about Bitcoin and its hardcore fan base." - Written by millioncents on IMDb.com "I watched the first film in 2014 as a Bitcoin noob. This follow up does a great job explaining what happened over the last 6 years as well as getting newbies up to speed on Bitcoin/Blockchain without drowning them in the technicalities." - Written by darrenkis on IMDb.com Quote From The Producer: "While my first film was low budget, talking-heads heavy and very academic, #CryptopiaFilm achieved a budget 8 times higher with the help of Screen Australia, A German broadcast coproduction, a much bigger crowdfunding campaign and industry backing. This allowed us to tell our story in a more ambitious cinematic universe. Elaborate 3D animations were created to illustrate blockchain's inner workings. We fly 5-person crews into a remote part of Switzerland to a secret location. We filmed consistently with two 4k cameras and partially even in 8k resolution. Furthermore, we opted for a more personal style i.e. "Torsten, the filmmaker taking the audience on a journey through this industry and it is ambitious" Torsten Hoffmann INTERVIEW: 🤍 Official Website for Cryptopia: 🤍 Twitter: 🤍 Twitter: 🤍 Facebook: 🤍 Instagram: 🤍 Rate the Film on IMDb: 🤍 MORE DOCS! ► Gold: 🤍 ► World Economy: 🤍 ► All Playlists: 🤍 #crypto #bitcoin #web3 COPYRIGHT / IMPORTANT: All Rights Reserved!
