Angkor Wat - Everything You Know Is WRONG! Impossible Ancient Technology| Part II | Praveen Mohan |

Facebook.............. 🤍 Instagram................ 🤍 Twitter...................... 🤍 Email id - phenomenaltravelvideos🤍 This is my Patreon account if you like to support me - 🤍 00:00 - Introduction 00:27 - Size of Angkor Wat 01:25 - Central Towers 02:07 - Approximate Calculation 04:27 - IMPOSSIBLE Task 05:12 - Rock Quarry 06:11 - Conventional Archeological Theory 07:36 - Mysterious Architecture 09:23 - Astronomical Precision 12:25 - Who built Angkor Wat? 17:22 - Conclusion Hey guys, today we are going to look at the mysterious Angkor Wat Temple in Cambodia, which has many strange secrets hidden inside. Historians say it was built about 900 years ago with simple tools , but by the end of this video, I think you will agree with me that this is not true at all. You may have already known that this is the largest religious monument in the world, but how big is this temple? The temple stretches more than 400 acres, that is more than three times the size of the entire Vatican city, or about 300 times the size of an American football field. So you can imagine the size of this temple. Even if we take out all the walking space and empty land, the sheer area covered by stone blocks is at least 10 Million Square Feet. And we are not looking at just a 2 dimensional ground area, we have to look at the volume in 3D because it is made of layers and layers of stone blocks, pillars, ceiling, and towers. The Iconic central towers in the middle, which almost look like drill bits, they are still the tallest structures in this city, even after all these years. The central tower is 213 feet tall, and this view is actually printed on the Flag of Cambodia. So imagine what would be the sheer volume of rocks needed to build a temple which stretches for 10 million square feet and has a pyramidal height of more than 200 feet. If we calculate the weight of all the sandstone blocks which make up this pyramid, we get about 52 Million tons of rock. I have used a calculator to calculate this weight, using the density of sandstone. Now, we have already not included the rocks in the foundation, we have not included the millions of stone blocks going many feet deep in the moat, and the rocks placed around the moat. And that is already 52 Million tons of rock. Now what I am going to do is take only 20% of this number, so this way we know this is a very very conservative estimate, because Angkor Wat is not a true solid pyramid, there are lots of hollow spaces in between. Let us actually take even less than 20%, we will only take 10,000,000 tons. So this way we know at least this much of rocks would have been used to build the temple. Okay, so why are we calculating the weight of the stone blocks in this temple? Because, archeologists and historians argue that the entire temple was built in just 37 years. You know the standard theory, people using chisels and hammers to build temples. Now let us assume that these people worked from sunrise to sunset everyday for 37 years. So they worked straight for 12 hours with no breaks, they don't eat, they don't even blink, and no rainy days, no war, no festivals for 37 years. That is a total of 162,060 hours. So if you do the math, if you divide the amount of rocks by the number of hours, this is the answer we get, approximately 60 tons. This means that they would have to cut and place at least 60 tons of rock every hour. This is 1 Ton of rock every minute. So for every minute they have to measure, cut, carve, lift, place and align one ton of rock. This is simply IMPOSSIBLE. We cannot accomplish this even today, even with modern machinery, we have not yet developed the technology to cut, position and polish one ton of rock of every minute. That is more than 2000 pounds of rock every minute, or 1000 kilograms every minute. #Ancienttechnology #Cambodia #PraveenMohan

Cambodia's Temple Kingdom | The Mark Of Empire | Angkor

A thousand years ago, the Angkor Empire conquered large swathes of Southeast Asia to become one of the region's greatest powers. Host Peter Lee journeys through Cambodia to learn how life in Angkor still revolves around the ebb and flow of the floodwaters that come with the yearly monsoons, and how the ancient Khmer overcame the environmental challenge and became masters of engineering, building canals and reservoirs to act as flood defences and irrigation channels to boost their rice harvests. The Khmer also built a network of roads to exert their authority far and wide, and created a social system of education, taxation, and even healthcare that revolved around temples. Peter visits the Angkor Empire's crowning glory — Angkor Wat — the world's largest religious monument to see how it was built, and how intricate carvings detailing life a thousand years ago are linked with a modern Cambodian tradition. For more, SUBSCRIBE to CNA INSIDER! 🤍 About the series: Host Peter Lee explores the history of four Southeast Asian empires that made their mark on the world. Angkor in 2022 - a travel guide to Cambodia's ancient temples

My first International travels since COVID struck in 2020, took me to Cambodia and the temples of Angkor. After two pandemic years in Australia it was a delight to visit one of my favourite places in the world.

Angkor Wat - Worlds Largest Religious Monument - Siem Reap Cambodia 2022

Angkor Wat អង្គរវត្ត, "City/Capital of Temples" is a temple complex in Cambodia and is the largest religious monument in the world, measuring 162.6 hectares (1,626,000 m2; 402 acres). Originally constructed as a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Vishnu for the Khmer Empire by King Suryavarman II, it was gradually transformed into a Buddhist temple towards the end of the 12th century; as such, it is also described as a "Hindu-Buddhist" temple. Representing the abode of Hinduism's ancient gods, the spectacular temple of Angkor Wat is quite literally heaven on earth and the jewel in the Khmer archaeological crown. It's the largest of all Angkor's temples and one of the best preserved. Surrounded by a huge rectangular reservoir and an outer wall measuring over 3km in length, the temple consists of three tiered galleries and five towers shaped like lotus buds. Such is the national pride in the site that the outline of the temple features on Cambodia's national flag. Little can prepare you for the sheer scale, splendor and symmetry of Angkor Wat, a perfect blend of artistic genius and spiritual devotion. Although somewhat neglected after the 16th century, Angkor Wat is unique in that it was never completely abandoned and the moat safeguarded the temple against the encroaching jungle. Angkor Wat Is one of the ten wonders of the man made world and should be on the list of everyone. Enjoy the video!
