Yemen is (by far) the most difficult country in the world to visit in terms of logistics (getting a visa, planning, etc) and staying safe. I'm sure you are aware that since 2011, Yemen has been in a constant state of war. Tourists are not welcome here, and it's extremely risky for any traveler to visit at this moment especially as both an American and a journalist. I am double at risk. That all being said, I am beyond excited to have this rare opportunity to take you inside one of the most hidden and raw cultures left on earth.
