Like twlve kids at my school have space jam 2 backpack and one kid has space jam 2 pajamas
I think we all know the REAL reason the original was better than the new one...
Love the very short Britanick reference.
Space Jam should’ve replaced Micheal Jordan with world famous basketball player, Drew Gooden. That would’ve sent it to the heights of The Shawshank Redemption.
The singular reason that the original is better is that my personal favorite NBA player of all time is in it: Patrick Ewing. All the sequel had to do was slip a modern athlete that I personally love in an it would've gotten a pass....from me. You could afford Rick and Morty but not Henrik Lundquist? (I mostly watch hockey as an adult) (I should've have said Igor Shesterkin because Henrik is retired now)
I think the big difference between the two is that Space Jam 2 takes its self way too seriously
Love the BriTANick reference in this video.
Still way better then the second one by miles
I kinda enjoyed Space Jam a new legacy
I like the first Space Jam better It has Its problems but it’s ok, the second one Is terrible
The first one Is better In my opinion
Now I feel old, because I was 21 when Space Jam came out.
The funniest part is how the bad guy has a slight resemblance to the current Disney CEO
I think the difference is that the sequel takes itself too seriously. In the title alone, "A NEW LEGACY," like the grandchild of Van Gogh just opened a new exhibit. Then the dramatic nature of the story. It's not just "maybe some aliens might kidnap the Looney Tunes," there's the family drama with LeBron, the villain raising the stakes to millions of people being trapped in a computer for eternity, all the product placement being treated like grand monuments in the film, and then as mentioned all the monologues. The most dramatic the first got was Michael Jordan stretching his arm out like Reed Richards, in the sequel Bugs DIES.
Elmer Fudd has a shotgun and could’ve solved the dilemma right then and there. Still not over this after all these years.
Why is there so much inflation in early kids movies 🧍
Neither is good but I still think Space Jam 1 is better. It's just more fun to watch.
god damn. my dad walked in during the beginning (yes i paused it he told me to unpause it)
The difference between them:
1st movie has more focus on cartoon characters than on human characters. And also no woke shit.
2nd movie has more focus on Lebron and his son than on looney tunes. And also all the woke shit.
They may both be cheesy cash grabs, but the first is just more fun to watch. And I did re watch it as an adult
