Corolla can withstand a beating much better which is why I would never buy another used Civic.
Well if you are thinking about buying a corolla or civic, You are mostly buying a car with low cost and good reliability for no future expenses. And Toyota is literally best on reliability.
The Honda Civic interior is definitely nice I’m impressed. I’ve had two Honda Accords before my transition to the Toyota family

Toyota wins! Ive had all hondas since 2014. Will never again. Foresure stay away from honda turbos as our 21 rdx 2.0 turbo has rear main seal leak from factory new and oil dilution! Had 19 ilx 2.4 na it had factory rear main seal leak. And 2 ilx loaners same problem. Then got a 21 tlx same problem and also 3 tlx loaners rear main factory problems and oil dilution. And sadly our current 21 rdx same problems and 3 rdx loaners also same problems. Just bought a 22 corolla se. And it does not have oil smell coming thru vents yay!!!! The rear main seal leaks on the turbo honda ull get oil smell coming thru vents. I just saved you alot of money and headaches your welcome

Recently looked at both at dealerships here in Texas, and the Corolla was 26K with the Civic being 38K
But the corolla exterior look must better than the civic for me i go with the corolla.
I went with a 22 Civic Sport and I couldn't be happier! Unfortunately totaled my 15 Civic LX a few months back and was considering a 22 Insight Touring. Went with the Sport bc it was 7k less and felt like the safer choice as far as resell value and maintenance over its lifetime. My fiance has a 15 Corolla and it has held up so well thus far, so I was deciding between the 2 for a while. In my mind you really can't go wrong, its all just personal preference. Great video!

I just bought a new Corolla SE "Nightshade" edition, trust me it has way more than enough "technology" to suit me!
Let me make this easy for everyone. Ive bought only hondas since 2014. Just bought a 22 corrola se. Have a 21 RDX and it will be the last honda acura we will ever buy. 2.0 liter turbo in rdx has rear main seal defect. You can always smell oil coming thru vents when stationary. Had 3 rdx loaners, same problem! Also our 19 ilx and 3 ilx loaners same problem. And our 21 tlx and 3 tlx loaners same problem! That 2.0 liter turbo motor is also in the accord. Damn you honda!! I cant wait till we get rid of this car, how dare you offer such a product! Terrible company to deal with!!! They are hiding from us! To everyone that is reading this, you are welcome!!! Just saved you breathing in theae toxic fumes etc! Terrible product. They do not want this problem out, but believe this they know about it. Spread the word. Im a car person do all my own work. But a toyota and dont look back.and dont even consider a honda.
when civic is compared to corolla, they are comparing it with civic turbo, but why not compare it to corolla hybrid?
